VAT charges from Amazon

    This is likely a stupid question but I just want to be sure. I want to buy a PC on the amazon.co.uk website and from what I can see they already apply the Import Fee Deposit at checkout which is fine.


    If it's sent to Ireland would additional custom fees apply? It's valued above €150.

    All duties/vat should have be covered by 'Import Fee Deposit'

    You could check yourself (Item+Postage) * 21% = Vat Payable.

    If your Fee is more, then that would count for duties been charged.


    Edit: - Make sure your getting it delivered direct to you and don't use AP.
