    Hey giys
Just uick question is it possible to change a single mortgage saving account into a joint savings account?
For example on the first time buyers saving account is to possible to add a partner to the saving account if you have opened it as single account and have already been saving for a year?

    Hi there,

Thanks for checking your banking question here with us.

I'm afraid it is not possible to add another party to an existing account.

You would, if you wish, have the option to open a joint mortgage saver account here

    Hoping the above helps,

    Many thanks
    Alison

    Hey Alison

    Thanks for the response
I presume that would mean I would just transfer my saving from my single account into the new joint account ,
As if I'm correct I can not have TWO mortgage saving accounts,

Will you lose your cashback buy doing this?

Not sure if you are a FTB

    Hi yourdeadwright and Renault 5

    Thanks for the questions.

That's right you can have just the one mortgage saver account, either sole or joint.

If you decide the joint account is best, you will need to meet the criteria for the cashback offer on the new joint account.

    More info here on this.

    Hoping the above helps,

    Many thanks
    Alison
