Are you gonna tell us how many people normally die in nursing homes? People die in nursing homes all the time. Being sick is sort of a pre-requisite to being in a nursing home Joe, are you aware of that?

Duffy is great at talking about narratives.

Well what about his narrative just after the original call in October? Let more visitors into Nursing Homes, let expats into Ireland for Christmas!

    Pr!ck.

Remember this is the same Joe, sure we cant get COVID here we live on an Island .... "its hardly going to row here MWAHAHAHA"

People pay a second mortgage often through the fair deal scheme. Private companies provide agency staff on minimum wage often understaffed.

Yet they know deaths in these homes will be blamed on the HSE, government and NEPHET.

Owners of these homes need to be held to account.

    Really!!!

The Russians have a new vaccine too, not sure who we could send over to ask them nicely if we can buy some. Michael Flatley perhaps.
It's with EMA for approval but only submitted pretty recently

There are other massively vulnerable people.
We have had something like 207k vaccines 200k administered, the issue is the supply.

Nursing home residents were meant to be top priority but they weren't.

I hate the way they use the term ‘agency staff’ as if people who work for agencies were a lower form of life. They are properly qualified professionals.

How that first guy was ever allowed to make a sweeping statement that the nursing home staff are not properly qualified is beyond me. If they were all so badly qualified why were the State trying to poach them all at the start of all this? A nursing home I deal with were struggling to keep the doors open because the HSE were buying off all their staff with borrowed money.

A certain hospital I know of were told in Wk1 January that all 1,300+ of their staff would be vaccinated by Jan.18th. They've had 120 staff vaccinated to date with no confirmed date for the remaining 1,180+.

Not at all. My father was not sick, he was old, he wanted to go in to a nursing home. He was 90 years of age when he entered.

Fact. Most staff from HOME INSTEAD have moved to the hse with benefits etc. If I had a white lab coat in the hospital canteen Id be hired and put to work.
