I've had blue tits etc come into my stove before, (stove not in use at present, that's another story), but I have one, maybe a larger bird, who hasn't made it into the stove itself. It seems to be behind the "baffle(s)" ?

It's been a full day and it hasn't managed to make progress (or regress).

My stove man is in not available and I am in the vulnerable category re: Covid.

Is there any solution other than taking out all the bricks, etc?? I'm not keen on just letting it die and likely/possibly blocking the flue.
    Help?
