Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Who happens the old English number plates after a car is imported into ireland ? Does the car owner have the rights to them or do they go back to the DVLA. The plates in question still show up as the same car on the MOT checker so i guess they were never repurposed. The plates do have a significant value on the number plate market if transferable to a new owner

Depends on whether the car is listed as being exported or not.
I notice that my old reg from 13 is no longer on the system presumably as it was delisted or marked as exported.

the plates have no value unless the number was put on retention prior to export. To re-use the number on another vehicle both would need to be MoTd . The DVLA wont want the actual plates.
