"Agree with Joe",the floor is yours, but if you have a differing opinion, he will sneer/criticise/challenge/cut you short/paraphrase selectively
And bring in a tonne of people to shout you off air and disagree with you

Is the parents paying for there kids wedding still a thing?

And taking out a loan for it. The kid wants a kick in the arse.

Maybe if the husband of that woman had paid a few Bob for a life insurance policy there might have been plenty there to pay for the daughters wedding

It's the same as phone scams, lads doing gutters etc. At a certain point you're no longer a good custodian of your own finances but that line is very very grey.

Some jiggery-pokery went on there, I think.

And the wan who caused it was / is the darling of RTE

Joe admits he knows nothing now when confronted with the professionals.

Joe:"I'll let Brendan back in a sec".

Knowing Joe's time keeping plus his spitefulness, I wouldn't be surprised if he lets Brendan hang on til 3pm and then says "We're outta time".

If I found out my parents took out a loan to pay for my wedding I would kill them, and be absolutely mortified and ashamed of myself for putting them in the position to think they had to.
