Am I the only one who came the right side out of the boom in house prices?
Sold small family house in Rathmines with box rooms at €1,000,055 bought an apartment for €578,000 plus a duplex to let for €330,000. Paid off car loan with spare change. I would not have visited all those fancy places or be driving a half decent car on my small public service salary/pension.

There is absolutely no need for someone without a mortgage on a state pension even to be borrowing that type of money to travel abroad

She mentioned she bought a new car in 2006.

Yes, we are in a pandemic caller. Covid doesnt care about eye sight or taking out a mortgage with no care about paying it.

I wonder if I stop paying my mortgage, how long will I last?
