I’m voting Emily. Check out her out burst after the prizes were awarded and she didn’t get one.

Seems suss to me. She went off on a mad one and had to take a step back. Felt like a wolf that slipped and was advices to stop posting.

I never called it a slip. You did.

    I called it an outburst.

seems you did refer to it as a slip

An outburst came after the prizes were announced did it not? I didn’t say anything contra.

An outburst like that was still ott and suss.

I was grand until Barbara insinuated she used her shot. Stop lieing. Read back the events. Do I look like a wolf that was disappointed I didn’t get a bullet or a concerned villager who saw one person (Barbara) who received a bullet say they had already used it and then get even more concerned when another poster (Eva) quickly jumps in to defend that poster?

Sorry I thought I called it an outburst.

I stand by my vote. All her responses are extremely emotional. History has shown that’s never a good sign.

better to vote who you think is the most wolfy. dont be dismayed by being incorrect on night 1

I don't know. I think someone is a wolf and then someone else puts up a post in their defence with a reason and i see that too . For instance today the whole thing with Barbara wanting the gun and her shooting early. I was sure that was a bad sign. Then people pointed out all the reasons that she couldn't be and i saw that i was probably wrong.
As well as that: At some point yesterday I thought that something was wrong about Lucy and I not alone post about that but i voted Lucy for the lynch. And then this morning someone put up a chronology of posts about her and i wondered if i really felt something or if I was swayed by other people's suspicion, one person in particular (Not Tegan as Patrick seemed to infer)
My gut is telling me that Barbara is not a wolf but the whole posting style is a little niggle. Quoting poetry and not the usual type of poem. And the whole Alpha wolf can come back and take over another player.

I really am not sure. Have seen nothing to convince me that anyone is a wolf. But i totally see that i should vote. SIGH!

I get where you're coming from I think Emily, Babs called a shot and Eva was (somewhat) defending her.

Though Eva's posts don't really seem that defendy, she more seems to be pointing out correctly that no shot will happen till tomorrow morning anyways.

Maybe you also thought very wrong about how it played out. I’d be interested to see how many others will interpret it as an outburst bourne out of frustration of not getting a bullet.

Based on reading back I may change my vote now. One thing really stuck out. I don’t want to cause a wagon so will hold fire until after lynch. We have three bullets anyways so I can discuss my concerns with the person I’m voting for, maybe voting for them will motivate them to respond, I don’t think they did earlier.

I'm not going back into all this again but I pointed out your reaction was over the top particularly because no shot could actually be fired. I thought your reaction was way over the top, I reread it again now, and my opinion hasn't really changed

So I went back through the reveal of the prize and picked out a couple of interesting posts:

Would you care to explain this Fiona?

Fiona, Phil and Tegan's posts interest me more tbh

The Mr Universe answer was showing up on many searches as 5 but Nigel had 4. It was a while after I made that post that a 4 Mr Universe answer was linked in thread.

Nigel, why haven't you responded to Isla's question? Seems odd to highlight it yourself. Why did you omit the Lucy voters?

You've also not addressed my post explaining why I'm voting for you (5:30-6.00ish. Sorry, on mobile now). That's makes me assume I had a decent point or two in there

My vote is still on you

Ah ok, I didn't even look up the questions tbh as I wasn't here so I had no idea what that whole exchange was about :pac::pac:

Emily I think if you're a villager you're falling into a similar trap to Lucy. You're hyper defensive in your responses and just lashing out at people accusing you. I'd prefer if you told us who you were going to vote for prior to the lynch tbh, we're a bit all over the place here tbh

Your vote is on a villager with a gun? Bad move.

I left out the Lucy voters as I’m adamant there’s more wolves hiding in the smaller votes. Plenty of threads to pull at any yet here we are about to lynch a villager with a gun.

When I’m revealed as a villager as I will be ye need to hammer the f out of the people would voted me.

Who would vote for me before I use the bullet other than a wolf? What sense does it make to take away one of our bullets now? Seriously answer that question.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,063 ✭✭✭Brendan WW

Maybe put off the catching up until after the lynch and play in the now with us. Catching up is not going to help you avoid tonight's lynch, but chatting to us live, may do just that.

I understand what you're saying but people are talking about slip ups and bullet trios and I don't know what any of that is referencing. I'd be going in circles asking people to explain what they are referring to and from what I've read so far, asking for summaries has been responded to with 'read the thread, catch-up'. I don't like skim reading especially when there's a lot of players in anon accounts, I find it easy to mix people up.

I'd be suspiscious of anyone looking to lynch someone who has subbed in that day without giving them a chance to catch up.

Based on what I've read so far (minimal) and Steve advocating for a sub lynch, that's where I intend to put my vote unless I am convinced otherwise.

I'm on phone so trying to find now. It was a bit about wanting the bullets to kill and then making an additional post to clarify killing wolves. Then went off thread. It felt off to me.

    Clodagh I agree.

If I was posting that as a villager I wouldn't have clarified cause it's so obvious that's what it means...as a wolf you'd be minding your words.

    I'd agree this is suss

Yeah, adding the wolves did seem like it was someone who was worried about how the first post might look.

I would. You're my best guess for wolf, and I detailed why earlier. If I'm right then it's a villager saved as well as a wolf killed.

Not particularly loving this threat, unnecessary really! Id rather people respond to points on merit than oh, I have a gun

And when you’re proven to be wrong? You killed a villager and a chance to shoot a wolf.

So me as a “wolf” on thread admitted to giving bullets to Babz and Conor. What sense does that make? If I’m a wolf would I not hide the fact I won?

I think if a villager with a gun is voted out, that the other bullets should be used to fire through the voters of that wagon.

If no villager with a gun is voted out, but have received votes, then shooting their voters is fair game too.

I think I see where Gabs is coming from? Internal note to self: read Gabs posts

Ok there's a lot in this post but I can see the logic, just not sure where it's coming from.

Interesting post from Tegan in the middle

Next up is Babs announcing she has fired

Not seeing the problem here, Emily and Phil are saying the same thing really tbh. Wouldn't disagree with the sentiment, the firing from the hip (although not possible) would not be a good idea at all.

    Fair post imo.

Not sure on this one, where's the Babs/Eva thing coming from?

Nidge pops in at the end then.

I can see what Nidge is saying I guess. Most of what Emily says is plausible, though it does require large amounts of tinfoil - so I can see why Nigel is wolf reading Emily too

Fiona, Phil and Tegan's posts interest me more tbh

What way does my post interest you ?

Yeah, I don't think announcing three bullets is a wolfy move. Whatever credit you'd get would be outweighed by three additional kills for the wolf team.

I've just skimmed over Nigel's posts quickly and I am voting for him.

I'm think Barbara is wolfish too. I'll be on her case tomorrow unless something happens in the meantime to convince me otherwise.

I imagine if I get lynched Babz will be munched down only one bullet left in play. That’s why it makes no sense to Lynch anyone with a bullet. The wolves will take out someone with a gun at the munch anyway.

    Jake WW wrote: »
I'm logging off for a bit, should be back before the lynch.
As it stands I have a vote on Nigel. This was my position before the contest. The prizes, handing them out etc I can read both ways. So it hasn't changed my mind. The only thing it's done is link Barbara, if Nigel is Wolf I think she is too

My early rationale was Nigel being the driving force behind Lucy's lynch, from post 20 and the persistent

This exchange, just very quick to jump on Patrick...

Then there was this comment about shooting which Katie picked up on. Katie then got munched

Finally, my already suspicious mind then read this as trying to stop the conversation...

Like I said, the way the day has panned out hasn't changed much for me. But I side with Emily in the Nigel/Emily fight, he was very quick to call wolf when she seemed flustered to me, but innocently so

So yeah, that's me for now, I'll catch you guys later.

Also, I ended up being asked to work in a busy section today so I couldnt phone post like I planned. havent read too much for the last few hours so anybody up for lynch that i can take a quick look at ?

    All aboard the nidgy train.

Right villagers keep an eye on who voted for me there’s plenty of wolves lying there. There is no way someone on team village would vote for me before I had the chance to shoot for who we decide on as a group.
