This issue is all about the TV Channels/Radio Stations not feeling it financially worthwhile to apply for an EU Broadcasting Licence; their market is primarily in UK & not sufficient advertising revenue comes from non UK/EU regions.

Caller wasn't actually paying for these stations/channels as they're FTA/FTV ones.

He can still tune into them online, manually into his EPG too I think.

There's no compunction on Sky to reduce their prices accordingly; they also pay Sky Ireland/EU to be carried on their platform so Sky're actually down funds in this way too.
If I was that Sky rep he called, i'd increase the dopes price just for being a dope.

This week we will see 3000 people die from COVID. What is he talking about. 32000 people die every year. 3000 extra have died. 10%, that's all. And many of those could have been caused by missed scans.

I'm sure any one of the dead 10% will be glad to know that.

He cut her off a bit too abruptly. She was too optimistic for Joe.
