The thread will again be closed from 9am to 11am. Each day will begin at 11am.

So are we allowed to post now or not? It just given players an unfair advantage to post during a stage where other players might have thought the thread is closed?

I thought joe would be announcing thread closed - and I thought it was 10am, which is why I posted. Apologies mod if it was closed

    Morning all.

Eva we don't have a peek ability.
I also dont think there was a push towards Brendan. I raised the fact Isla and Brendan both had voted, but had not posted on the thread, and was voting for one of them for that reason. Steve agreed with me. We we are the only 2 who voted for Brendan.
There are a lot of other cotes cast too without reason.
We are losing someone this morning, I asked last night if Conor was going to use his bullet and he hasn't answered yet - so we might be losing a 2nd person.
Also Sarah Conor, Arnie and killswotch could randomly be thrown in also as we havent discussed a village strategy as to how we want to manage these. We need to get our act together as a village.

Morning all -this must be the first priority, isn't it?
Do we want Conor to shoot? I feel like there were arguments in both directions but don't know the numbers. I'll try to look back now....

So is there a village consensus decided on for Conor's bullet?

I still think its risky to use it.

Also the village has Sarah Connor, Arnie and Miles. Again I think it seems very risky to be using any vigilante bullets or kill switches right now.
    Clodagh WW wrote: »
I'm with you on that Derry. Dont think using is pro village. Wolves not having it or not being able to use it is a better option imo.

Only two posts on it since last night (just started looking from Derry's question)

Also noted - few people asked Gabriel why the self-vote, does seem an odd one

What do you think Jake? Should Conor use it or not?

No, I don't think so - 25 players, 4 wolves isn't it now? Terrible odds, 84% chance of hitting a vilaager

Sorry, 24 now, thought we started on 26
And I guess Conor won't shoot himself! But still 18/22 village

I will also take # of posts this morning when Joe closes the thread, and try keep track for tonight. There are a lot of posters barely posting here.

Does that mean Brendan/Patrick/Gabriel are in danger of penalty votes on them?

Just catching up. The Steve thing seemed strange, if it was me I'd be more likely to submit a guess and nothing on thread. Its definitely something I'd keep an eye on
    Steve WW wrote: »
Think it's 45451 but not sure, someone else can PM as I'm only darting in briefly be back later
    Vernon WW wrote: »
So you've enough time to work out the code but not enough time to PM the mod? That's mighty suss. Although why would a wolf not want to win?
    Angus WW wrote: »
Or he could have actually sent it and won, but wants to keep it to himself

I don't like Tegan, he came out with a strange "are we all on a Katie bandwagon" when I literally hadn't been mentioned by anyone, how do you get to the conclusion?

I don't like his plan to coordinate the answers, it only helps the wolves because they have a BR and can use ours and their coordination. Its an awful plan.
    Tegan WW wrote: »
Wolves could easily take a question each in researching these, we should try to co-ordinate our code finding for the next one. Assign people who are going to be here to look for question 1 and post it on thread as quickly as possible and so on and so forth
    Player 1 - question 1
    player 2 - question 2
    player 3 - question 3

and hope that villagers are active in the thread at the time to get the pm in before the wolves do maybe

Randomly clears Nigel, get in his pocket Nigel, its cosy in there

Possibly but that is from 2pm so not accurate for checking that

Mary quick to jump on Steve for a lynch, not sure what to make of that

Sorry I've not made it on today before now. Just caught up on thread and think Steve has to be the most obvious lynch for tonight. Open to reasons why I shouldn't vote for you stevie boy.

The bang of wolf off this post from Emily, would be my No. 1 wolf
    Emily WW wrote: »
Don’t want either, I’m enjoying having no responsibility to anything in this game. Ha, if there was an SK that wouldn’t look good, I’m just happy to be free of shackles of responsibility is what I mean.

If we don’t want the bullet used it should stay with you as you have at least owned up to it. Village should decide BG concensus what to do. That’s a good looks that you came out on thread. The only caveat is that on day 1 it’s more beneficial for a wolf to garner village points so I’m neutral on the what thus says about your alliegance.

I find night 1 lynch is a crap shoot. Cant recall ever having a strong feel on somebody on night 1, particularly after a fluffy day 0 (which I was very much a part of).

Would a wolf intentionally give out wrong answers? (Accusations against steve) Meh, I’m not sure as they leave themselves exposed and it’s a lazy play for me. I’d of thought most wolves want to blend in and appear as villagey as possible or go for the TWTBAW strategy.

I missed the comp today as I was out walking the dog (work for myself so have flexibility to do whatever I want when I want :) ). Going forward has anybody any suggestions on how the village should try to manage the comp?

Don't like Nigel pushing to have the bullet used
    Nigel WW wrote: »
Gone quiet now the prize has been passed out.

Right shall we decide on who to shoot?

Agree with Gertie on this, thats Patrick, Nigel and Angus she's referring to
3 people more into posting than reading. Frank makes a typo and posts the fix, and 3 people jump on him without reading the post and seeing its a typo fix. Gotta be at least one wolf in this trio.

    Exactly right Gertrude.
I tried to edit my post, ended up quoting it instead. Why would I draw attention to myself for the sake of one measly post count?
I posted plenty yesterday anyway so the post building argument falls flat.

Good point, Frank is halfway up the list of posters

Sorry, didn't mean to omit anyone, just started from last night to try to be quick.
Not sure Conor's here though, so if he decided last night this might all be irrelevant

    No bother

I'm out again now, I'll make sure I'm back for 1pm today for the comp

So I won't shoot anyone so. No lynch came second and there doesn't seem to be a consensus on who to take out.

THREAD CLOSED - NIGHT ACTIONS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT 11AM.

    NO POSTING

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,016 ✭✭✭✭beakerjoe

    MOD ANNOUNCEMNETS - Night Actions…..

The Player who won the loot yesterday picked up his gun and aimd at everyone……….
But declined to shoot. He emptied his clip and the bullet fell down a near by drain. This bullet is gone for ever. No Kill.

Sarah Connor was awake all night mulling over who was a Terminator in disguise. She wanted blood. She aimed at everyone in the village and…..
came to the conclusion that no one was worthy of a bullet today…… no kill
    .

Arnie though had his choice to make…… he came to his conclusion much quicker than others…..
he chose not to use his power. All his powers stay intact.

But while these villagers chose to be more pragmatic…… The Terminators wanted blood….. The T-1000 morphed behind one unsuspecting villager and took the form of their spouce ........the villager was carelessly drinking milk from the catron when they impaled the villager on their liquid metal spear.

KATIE WW IS DEAD……She was ………..a Non Roled villager…. She was good.

GAMETHREAD REOPEN...... SEE YOU AT 1PM FOR THE CODES TRANSMISSION

That's the most restrained I've ever seen a village with guns. I'm kinda impressed.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,927 ✭✭✭Eva WW

I think good choices were made there! Odds are against shots hitting wolves last night.

At least so far, we haven't lost any of the roled villagers which is a good thing at least...
A couple of questions I'd like cleared up:
@Gabriel - why vote for yourself over a No Lynch option?
@Brendan - will you be more active on the thread today?
