Does a claim for a named driver jack up the premiums the same as the main driver?

    Do they treat it differently

For instance if you removed the named driver before next renewal or is it treated the same

    Hypothetical question

As in the named driver would have had an accident using your policy, or their own separate one?

The named driver having an accident on your policy

Like the risk isn't there if you took them off at next renewal

Or do they just claw the money back the same over 5 or 6 years

The claim is against the main person who owns policy. If you remove the named driver later it dies not matter, you the owner had a claim against you (your policy) .

So there is a high risk adding someone to your policy and letting them drive regularly.
