I ordered stuff from screwfix.ie last week and I received nothing yet
and its coming from the UK which I didn't know when I ordered from them

That's a good point actually. Load of .ie sites that are actually based in the UK, which you only discover when you pay for shipping. They will be f**ked. Probably what they deserve for being sneaky in the first place.

Any one who has dealt with DPD should know they are a shambles.

I got a computer server devlivered during what can only be described as a monsoon, and the DPD guy didn't bother ringing the bell, or knocking on the door, he just left it on the step. Maybe he didnt know it was electronic although the word Lenovo was printed down the side of the box.

The dog heard his van going and wanted to chase it so I let him out and saw the box.

They have stores here so should be able to handle Irish VAT. However dont hold your breath until delivery. The export side in the UK is goosed

Serious delay on the app but if only this Brexit thing had been flagged before January 1 instead of being brought in overnight with no warning.

Websites do need to be more clear on what sort of additional charges you should expect for delivery. Many fail to do this.

Brexit is not going good for the UK at all.
It's a disaster can't believe so many thickos voted for it.

The perfect example is the below
    https://www.theforester.co.uk/article.cfm?id=112812&headline=Businessman%20who%20backed%20Brexit%20says%20eel%20business%20has%20been%20sold%20down%20river&sectionIs=news&searchyear=2021
