Slippery plastic drain covers and also concrete path

My toddler slipped on one of the plastic covers for the access points to our drains earlier. It was a bit wet and very slippery. Clean. There isn't snow where I am.

Would a non-slip cover be a good solution? What about grip tape, or non-slip step paint, or..?

There's also a concrete path around our house. It is pretty slippery in some places. Scraping and scrubbing it and putting down grit/salt works but is not ideal because it will go into the shrubs on one side and scraping is quite a bit of work.

Similar slipperiness on steps that I dealt with by scraping and scrubbing with a brush. Did that for the second time the other day - only noticed it was slippery again then two years after the first time I did it. But it was quite a bit of hard work for just a few blocks - doing the path the whole way around the house would be a bit painful and time consuming.

Thanks. Actually I have a decent powerwasher I'll probably try that on the paving.

Any recommendation about making the plastic drain covers non-slip?

Re painting plastic covers, give the covers a coat of suitable paint, while still wet, throw sand over, let dry, brush off whatever sand hasn’t stuck and give a 2nd coat of paint, should provide enough anti slip.
