Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi guys

Hoping someone can shed some light on filling out the CG1 form when you are jointly assessed

Married , Both of us with shares in our own names sold shares last year, 2 separate CGT payments were made on each of our ROS Online

I’ve a handle on what fields to use but Just on section 7,11,15,16 & 19...there is an option to fill in the spouse amounts there, do I need to fill this out or submit 2 separate CG1 forms for each of us? (Or both?)

It makes no difference to the end result in terms of what was owed.

    Thanks

One for the both of you, there are boxes for each person.

Cheers, makes sense.. so on that basis I'm to assume that 1a of the CG1 form is the combined amount of shares sold by both of us (as theres only one field here)

Theres only place for 1 name/pps no / signature on the combined form but as jointly assessed I expect this is fine
