In the context of autism, I think you are either verbal or not.

I'd say it's a hope thing, god love them all and I being agnostic but I mean that.

Whoy don't de men on dis thread who do be ailing not submit themselves to having def particulars examined... exception being ButtersSuki who has easy access to de probing an dat? What is it with men?

Of course Covid has put a spanner in de works and has provided a veritable excuse.

Not joking, the last time I was at a doctor was 1979. I had to visit casualty in 1995 alright. I wouldn't have bothered except that my blood was spurting all over the customers every time I tried to pull the broken bottle out of my hand so to speak.
I've a high pain threshold so I just sit out any aches, pains, colds etc until they right themselves.
Shoulder seems to be improving anyway. I carried two bags of shopping home from Lidl without too much discomfort. Still stings if I reach above my body though.

    From the UK Daily Telegraph...
Biden's great, great, great grandfather, Edward Blewitt, left Ballina, co Mayo, Ireland for America during the Irish famine 170 years ago, which could mean he is well disposed towards Great Britain

Really? Are they so blind and deaf they've failed to appreciate how vile and horrible that must have been for his family at the time?
    Utterly priceless.

 Typical! It's the serious less painful stuff dat needs de attention as often as not. Men too often arrive to a position where they are ill beyond help. Eg, after 40, prostate hormone should be measured every year or two. In fact once a person has reached 35 bloods should generally be checked every two years. So much bad stuff is preventable.

Crazy too that Marian Finucane was on over €350,000 even though most people agreed she had gotten progressively worse over the years.

Claire Byrne will be on €300,000 or more after taking over from Sean O'Rourke and she's not very good at it.

Insane money when you think about it. They should be given €200,000 max or told to fup off to the UK.

What kind of money would Pat Kenny be on at Newstalk?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 23,248 ✭✭✭✭2smiggy

Marian Finucane had some number going in fairness !!

I'd prefer to wait till they release the 2020 amounts to see if they actually dropped the pay by 15% !!

Just reading in Av Herald a report of a near air disaster at Prague airport involving an Irish air freighter which came onto de runway just as another aircraft was moments from touch down at same point, in spite of being instructed to hold short on taxiway. Fortunately ATC had their eagle eyes on the runway & instructed the other to go around immediately. Dat would have dominated de news here.

I assume those figures are excluding his Dancing With The Stars fee as that is produced by ShinAwil.

To be honest, I don't care how much an employee of a private sector company is paid in this context.

The real problem with the pay for Tubridy, Duffy, Darcy, Finucane, et al is that we all pony up for it.

To release those numbers today, in an attempt to bury bad news is truly, truly shameful.
