Probably a very still question but how much should you be staking, is a case of the more you stake the greater your return?

    up to you

remember everytime you claim you pay a fee and every time you stake you pay a fee so you need to work out when you claim & stake based on the amount of rewards you get to maximise your amount

The more you stake the greater the return

The more being staked the lower the rate but the price seems to go up so it averages out eventually

I've seen it come down from 29% to 16% in the last couple months but the price has about doubled

Looking at staking while leaving on exchange such as Kucoin where it was around 11.5% APY (fees covered). With Binance, I assume it would be automatic if you leave Zil on exchange as NEO etc?

not sure about staking on an exchange

NEO can be staked using NEO wallet secured by your Ledger if you have one

didnt think the rewards with NEO were great?

for 2021 you cant beat what you get with ZIL with the gZil thrown in on top

Buy on Binance and stake on Zillet. As straightforward as staking gets I’ve found. Keep in mind once it’s staked it’s a two week waiting period to unstake.

If i leave on Binance will it automatically be staked?

Ah ok, will look into it further but would probably just use a exchange platform given the low amount to try it out.

Double checked now and Kucoin staking is at ~11% but you miss out on gZil so quite a hit. Only benefit is that the staking cycle is 3 days rather than 14. Probs will just get the wallet set up at this rate. Which would you recommend?

Yep, NEO has gone way down in terms of GAS rewards, used to be around 7% now just about covers any transaction fees to convert.

if it was me I would set up an Atomic wallet, takes 5 mins and hey presto you just transfer the ZIL to the wallet & stake there and you get the gZil when you claim

for that little effort to setup an Atomic wallet its worth it for the gzil alone plus you are in control of your keys and can put other crypto in there aswell

Presumably the better what is to stake it now, and leave it on there as long as possible before claiming.

Or is claiming every 2 weeks advantagous?

No. AFAIK it needs to be held by one of the trusted SNN. Open to correction of course, only that looking into it today.

Seems to be one of the more popular ones.
Some seem to have lower commission though. Based on link above

it really depends on how much rewards you get weekly and then when you claim & restake them for compunding taking into consideration of the fees every time you claim & stake

I would say do it maybe every 6-8 weeks

Wouldnt know anything about the fees for others but its 6.3zil to stake each time and 12.6zil to claim to total 18.9 each time

Atomic is just really easy to use and their support is excellent

You can also stake the following on Atomic

    ZIL
    ADA - 5%
    ICX - 10%
    ATOM - 10%
    XTZ - 7%
    TRX
    BAND - 17%
    NEO
    KMD
    ALGO - 7.2%
    VET

I set up Atomic last night, sent some ETH, bought Zil and staked it in a few mins. Was very simple.

Only thing is it takes a few mins to update do for a while I thought it had not gone through. But it did get there after a few mins.

Are those fees fixed per stake/claim.
Or based on a set amount you are using.

If fixed, it should be possible to work out a optimum period to compound the claim.

fixed per stake/claim so its best to transact in as big of an amount as you can

ya just hold back enough zil for your next claim transaction otherwise you'll end up needing more to claim/stake

30 zil is sufficient to keep in your wallet as a buffer & stake the rest

The potential here is huge, a total game changer, current Market Cap $5.5m, $0.003397 at the moment, volume up 20% in 24 hours as they just launched Suter Shield v1, well worth picking up a bag, could easily be a 100x if all goes well'

    Nice suggestion .

with a max supply of 682,550 gZil and they will all be fully allocated by around Oct 2021, I feel this one could be a $1000 value at some point

And its free at the moment when you stake Zil

Anyone staking Zilliqa on www.zillet.io? How do I know if I'm eligible to claim gZIL? My Zillet.io wallet says I've no gZil to claim.

    Orange pilled.

Not sure what you mean? I purchased some ZIL last summer and sent it to a Zillet.io wallet. Logged into the wallet yesterday and there is no ZIL or gZil to claim, just the amount I originally purchased.

    Orange pilled.

Have you staked it on zillet, or just held it in the wallet.

Originally I thought I'd staked it but it was just held in the wallet. So obviously it needs to be staked before I can earn gZIL etc.
    Thanks.

What is Atomic, help a guy out here..Is it a wallet to do Atomic Swaps?

How come you can't do ETH staking in it ?

It's a mobile wallet similar to Exodus, Trust Wallet etc. Nothing to do with Atomic Swaps. You can stake a bunch of different tokens there (ZIL, ADA, XTZ, NEO etc) at some decent rates.

Its a non custodial wallet. This is important, nothing worse than kyc.

It's Decentralized and its free. You literally download it on your phone or pc, make a password and send whatever to the receive address.

when you claim the Zil, they automatically award you the gZil at the same time and put it in your wallet

    You have 2 options then
Swap the gzil for zil and restake the zil or hold the gzil

I think the latter could prove to be a better choice in the long run

BTC riding the support line of the pennant as I type.

28k in play if we break it in the short term. 1 bounce already. Another 2 bounces and 35k should be easy again IMO.

    Buying here regardless, as always.

    What does this mean

Some people believe the future intent of the market can be predicted from studying the chart of a traded asset. I think it's called technical analysis. That is what I beleive was being referred to - suposedly identifiable patterns, like that formed by tea leaves in the bottom of a cup.

As surprisingly few chartists become billionaires, I personally have my doubts.
