Graduate Current Account is moving to a Personal Current Account

My Graduate Current Account is moving to a Personal Current Account today but I want to switch to a Basic Bank Account instead. I don't think I am in need of a current account as I am unemployed and my only income is Disability Allowance.

I tried ringing 0818 365 365 but the line was always busy. Once, I was on hold for over 13 minutes. I can't afford the charges of a current account and would be much more comfortable with a Basic Bank account.

How can I go about doing this?

    Hi Alygal,

Thanks for checking this with us.

If you believe you are eligible for a Basic Bank Account, you can certainly apply for this in your local branch. You can locate your nearest branch here.

We hope this information helps. Feel free to get back in touch if we can help with anything else.

    Thanks,
    Richard
