    It is pretty forgiving

I'll keep it if it doesn't sell in next couple of days and give it a go.

Picked up 51 Worldwide Games in the eshop sale for 25 pounds or whatever they converted it to in Euros.

(Seemed very reasonable and mostly enjoyed what I've played so far. The computer players in Texas Hold Em though are complete morons and make the game ridiculously easy as a result. Golf isn't great either, when they could have just stuck a version of Wii sports golf on there.)

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

Got lured in by the price and bought it, now realise it is probably too steep a learning curve for me, so up on adverts it goes, at a gouging price (not really).

I thought you couldn't re-sell a download code after activation. How do you manage to do that? Cheers.

Haven't activated it afaik! Maybe I have!

Apologies. I assumed that you had activated it when you said that you thought the curve was too steep - ie that you had played your copy.

Ah right, no, just going by reviews.

I bought physical version a while back and have not got a clue how to play. Have tried looking up tutorials, just gave up, with the intention of trying again at a later date. Hasn't happened yet.

It probably might have helped if I had played any of the previous ones.

+1 on this one, I usually love all those city builder strategy games but this one was way too tough to handle

Ring Fit Adventure got a bit of reduction in GameStop. It's now €69.99 but given stores are closed and currently impossible to click&collect, it comes to €73.49 with delivery. It's slightly cheaper than Smyths @79.99 with free delivery.

Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove 16.66 pound once the vat has been removed by Amazon

No worries of vat or duty as it’s under 23 euros

Great bargain if anyone is looking for Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove

Is there a list somewhere of eshops you can buy from easily? Hoping to pick up a few big games today in the sale and trying to save a bit of money if possible - super Mario odyssey, Zelda breath of the wild, two point hospital and maybe Luigi's mansion if I save money on the other 3.

I have accounts in South Africa, USA, Russia and Japan.
For South Africa and Russia, you can use your own credit/debit cards.
For USA and Japan, you need to buy eshop credit from websites like PCGameSupply or play-asia.

South American eshops have amazing discounts, but it's impossible to pay from here.

Compare prices across all eshops here:

Thanks Mr E - I've been using south Africa mostly but all the games are more expensive there this time around. Russia considerably cheaper though, I'll save €26 altogether buying the 4 games there. Belated Christmas present to myself.

Deku Deals is also good for seeing what's new on sale

Not too much on sale in the EU this week, but the US are having a massive sale (much of the same stuff that was on sale here in the new year but some new stuff).

City of Brass is 90% off.
Star Wars Episode 1 Racer is 50% off.
Blaster Master Zero games are 50% off.
    Horizon Chase Turbo 75% off
    Ghostbusters Remastered 75% off
    The Talos Principle 75% off
    Katana Zero 40% off
    All Devolver Digital stuff discounted.

If you have a list on Deku Deals, change currency to USD and see if any of your wishlisted games are on sale.

Oooh, I have 12$ on the US store, and Talos Principle is one that I started on my PC years ago, and never finished. It was excellent.

Grandia collection is €20 on eshop currently great PS1 and PS2 RPGs absolute bargain for two engaging games.

Those two are basically Aneurism: The Game, great memories but hard as balls.

Hi All, may be pushed into buying a Switch, as I gave my PS4 to my son and clearly can't get a bloody 5 anywhere... any links to where to get one, bests deals etc?

Wait for the new Mario one... though not sure if it will be more expensive?

Comes with a nice case though. Not sure if they all come with cases (I have a Lite)

It's €329.99 in Smyths and online. I stumbled across it a few times.

It's nearly 4 years since switch launch, I can't believe you are not getting any game with this mario celebration console. They seem to be getting meaner and meaner despite having epic sales.

The games are single use codes tied to the console and NNID once used, I'd literally kill millions* to see a Zelda 35th Anniversary Switch console down the line in a few weeks or months when the Zelda celebration announcements are made.

    * Of Goombas

I'd be chuffed with a Zelda G&W... hopefully with Zelda 1 and 2

Switch pro (or whatever it is to be called) is still unannounced, every day that I hear nothing I worry that it will be a brand new console rather than a cheap upgrade to the current one, makes all of the animal crossing and Mario themed ones seem pointless 😥😥😥

The Switch is still selling by the bucketload, I don't see Nintendo in any urgent rush to release a completely new console for another 12-18 months.

Picked up Submerged for just over a euro, seems to be on sale more often than not, visually a bit dated but enjoying it so far. Worth using up a few of your coins on.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.
