Survey of 170 year old house

We are thinking of buying this house (pictures attached)
Had a surveyor in to do a pre-purchase survey who says all is okay but just seemed to do a visual survey looking for dips in the roof, cracks in the walls.
there are some cracks but says its not a problem as not deep enough.
No obvious sign of dips in the roof, only looking from the ground, didn't go up to the attic as there are only rafters there, no plywood floor.

Would you need to get someone in to go up to the attic and do a more in-depth check of the roof?
Anything else you would also get someone in to check? Drainage?

You're about to make potentially the biggest purchase of your life and it's nearly 200 years old - I think a closer look at the attic might not be a bad investment.

So no gutters
so how good is that flat roo with half the water dumping down on it
yes you do need a good look at the roof, for woodworm if nothing else.
it looks okay but would be a very expensive job to re-roof if needed.
the cracks are nothing, fascia and soffits need redoing
