If Pogba stays at this level of performance, and Bailly stays fit, then Utd can stay as consistent as they have been.

    Maguire is terrible.

Yes six minutes isn't ideal but it was the correct decision. Without VAR Shaw gets away with a bad tackle and Burnley lose a player.

Isn't ideal is an understatement. Even the tweet thread posted above reads like some sort of needless flowchart process. How does it take six minutes for two guys to process that.

Even still was it the correct decision? Shaw could've seen red, easily. There's not a correct decision - just your judgement from what you see. At some point you have to move on quickly.

Well the ref didn't award one so I would think, just maybe, it wasn't.

United doing their best to try bottle this

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,736 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

There you go, VAR stepping in to not give Burnley a penalty, McGuire the ONLY one who jumped with TWO arms above his head, using hands to clear it, NO pEnalty.

VAR is so compromised, it's not even trying to hide it.

Would've been in September, but that's irrelevant.

Was thinking the same. This was an absolute doddle until the goal.

That's fair enough if it's hands by his side but he had them over his head. Anyway ref is never going give it.

Big win for Everton, especially without Calvert Lewin or Richarlison in the starting lineup.

They've rode their luck heavily in the last few weeks imo. Can't see them maintaining this form.

All jokes aside, I've no idea how that was not given as a penalty.

    Vydra has been incredibly wasteful.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,888 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Vydra is horrendous. He's done that same shot, skied into the air, 3 times in about 6 minutes.

    Bring on Sunday.

Good win. Far superior team for 85 minutes. Held out.

Var did not cost is in end. Good stuff. Credit to Pogba was very good.

All the pressure on Liverpool now at Anfield
A draw is enough for Utd

VAR saved you in the end surely? Maguire pen not given and Shaw not sent off surely outweighs Maguire goal.

If the Liverpool one last week, where the Southampton defender dived at the ball, with hands slightly out, wasn't given, then it's clear the rule has changed, and it's just the way it is.

In that context, Maguire's one was never one.

Every other United player managed to jump with hands down, McGuire had both hands above head.
At the end of every United game, they either get a penalty, or have one not given against them.
Lightening has stuck in the same place so many times now that it's clearly controlled.

It was NEVER going to be a penalty based on what went in previous games. At the other end , yes, United win one.

    So corrupt

Some crazy decisions in the first half alright
At least VAR got some calls in the second half correct so some redemption there

Given that this is true, I'm interested in how Ole approaches it.

    Sit and counter?
Or try to take control with the ball, given Utd are the form team?

Your support for conspiracy theories, with no actual evidence, is worrying.
