    Lloris

    Reguilon, Tierney, Dias, Cancelo

    Sterling/KDB, Bruno, Rashford, Saka

    Kane, Laca

    Mitchell, Burke, Brewster

Leaning towards Sterling on the KDB/Sterling call

Have no choice but to FH really.

    Leno
    Tierney Cancelo Dier
    Neto Fernandez Son KDB
    Wilson Kane Lacazette
    Subs: McTominay Mitchell Douglas

Still undecided on a couple. Neto or Gundogan?

-4 next week will get me 15 DGW players for bench boost. No doubt that will change though.

If you’ve held off from playing the FH then how many players does that leave you starting for this BGW ? Realistic starters.

I can get to 7 with a -8 but head is busted deciding what to do.

I have 8 from a minus 4 but three are bench fodder (Fulham x2 and, Brewster). Three city plus Son and Bruno.

That’s for a minus 4. I am rolling the dice. Team is in ok shape for the double week coming and still have the free hit for the next time it will be needed. There will be many more double and blanks.

Could you maybe do Saka to Smith Rowe to upgrade your bench a little, no guarantee any of them will play and even question marks over some of the starters - Pep roulette and Laca being the main issues.

No one expects Cancelo or Dias to be dropped, but no one expected Walker to miss the Fulham game or Sterling to miss the Burnley game, but these things can happen with Pep.

I have 7 that have a game, but 1 of those is Aguero who needs to go. A gamble that has backfired massively. Villa not having a game has cost me 2 players.

If I make transfers, it will have to be a -4 and messing around with Aguero out & either Lacazette or Cavani in, and also try get somebody in for Lamptey to get an extra playing player in, maybe Holden . That brings me up to 8 players but I still have a bit of a worry around Cavani or Lacazette actually starting. The other option is to leave Lamptey there and deal with him next week and instead just bring in Son for Salah who was going to go anyways eventually.

Maybe FH is actually the better option, but then I am only kicking the can down the road with the Lamptey / Aguero problem. If I just do the -4, I can get KDB in with ease with the FH for DGW and still afford a -4 with 4.3 if any problems arise.

Is this enough for the BGW with a -4? (8 players)

    Lowton Stones
    Son Neto Sterling Saka
    Lacazette Kane

with possible point if Taylor is fit.

Which in turn would turn into this for a BB DGW (25 players at the minute)

    Martinez McCarthy
    Coufal Holding Lowton Taylor Stones
    Son Sterling Saka KDB Soucek
    Lacazette Kane Watkins

So you’re really going with 5 players for a -4.

I think if I use FH it would be for Son and Kane. So do I want to go ahead without those highly owned players and risk falling even further behind.

I’ve set myself up well for the DGW but now I believe there’s talk of no Leeds or Southampton DGW so If true it’s been a waste of time preparing.

If the Southampton and Leeds game was called off then that would make me want to use WC now for this GW so 2 birds 1 stone. I could get out a great team for this BGW and a good team for the DGW and BB.

I know one thing for sure. BB is getting used in GW 1 next season. I’m 100% sure about that.

Opinions on Saka in a 3-5-2 or AWB in a 4-4-2...?

I'd go with Saka, wouldnt be overly confident on a Utd CS

If your an player that prefers to have a set keeper, the earlier you play this the better, as you get to save 0.5m going with a dud keeper from the early stages and that's a good chunk of change. I played it in GW10, (the week the Johnstone the hero got 11), with the full intention of downgrading him - but too many fires due to covid/injuries means he's still in my team taking up that 0.5m.

Think I'm down to my last decision with my FH, which looks better?

    A. Saka, Foden & Brewster (bench Brewster)
    B. Smith-Rowe, Gundogen & Wilson (bench S-R)

What do you think are the maximum points that both players can get?

AWB CS would brig you to 6, maybe with some bonus depending on how the game goes. Would not be reliant on G or A points.
Saka is capable of getting G or A, and multiple, which would return bonus points also.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,657 ✭✭✭✭2nd Row Donkey

    Only 6 players with games.

    Kilman
    Lewis
    Holgate
    Rashford
    Fernandes
    Kane

    May only field 4 players.

    1ft available

Would be willing to go as far as a - 8 in order to bring that up to 9 players.

Really don't want to use FH but I don't really have any other option, do I?

    Saka all day long!

Tierney and Saka are huge value for potential returns.

I have used my Free hit this week like many others i presume.
Will Sterling and du bruyne play tonight or is there plans for them on the weekend?

Lewis won't play. Kilman might but its a coin toss. You are activating a FH to gain 6 playing players with good fixtures. I think this one is a no brainer.

So my team is shaping up like this
    Darlow
    Saiss Kilman AWB Mitchell
    Sterling Son Fernandez KDB
    Wilson Kane
    Captain Bruno

You have a tricky choice there. I'd be inclined to chance it for a -4 though.

    Which team:

    Leno (Forster)

    Cancelo Dias Shaw Bogle (Mitchell)

    KdB Son Saka Aubam Rashford

    Kane (Silva, David)

    —————-

    DDG (Sanchez)

    Tierney Cancelo Reguillon (Bogle, Mitchell)

    KdB Son Saka Bruno Foden

    Kane Lacazette (Davis)

I think its my final free hit selection now:

    De Gea
    Saiss, Tierney, Dias
    KDB(c), Fernandes, Son, Saka
    Kane, Lacazette, Wilson

    Norris, Gundogan, Clark, Mitchell

0.2mill left in the bank but think this is what I'm going with unless anyone has any suggestions.

I prefer the second team myself as it's nearly identical to mine bar Reguillon (I've Alderweireld) and Foden (Gundogan).

Auba is too expensive for me even in a FH team meaning you're team is 'weaker' in other areas. Feel you've a better overall team with B and higher points potential.

    B.

But I'd take out DDG, I just never have confidence in a United CS, Darlow?

Kind between both myself. Main problem is dropping Bruno gets me Rashford and Laca.... Very tempting!

Yes that is the team I’m on at present and I think the points potential is higher (Tierney, Reguillon & Foden). The worry is Rashford & Aubameyang who I like. Being honest I have a hunch on Bruno not performing today, and probably will revert to Rashford which will free up 1.4mil.

Not sure where else I could use that on team B. Alternative would be Aubam & Cavani for Bruno & Laca.

he said they definitely won't play tonight, maybe tomorrow against Brighton.

Worried I'm too light on the bench - Yedlin, Mitchell, Burke. Any thoughts on how to get a more secure bench? Or am I safe enough? I have 3.9m, 4.3m and 4.3m to play with.

I'm wondering this do, I'm currently on a very light bench of Brewster, Mitchell and BLANK, wondering if it's too risky.

If the Arsenal game were to be called off I'd be pretty screwed, but this way I can squeeze in Sterling. All about risk vs reward. Brewster will probably start with McBurnie likely out so I'm okay with playing him and having him first sub assuming all the games go ahead.

    Decisions...

Who's the blank player? Could you downgrade Brewster to 4.3m and bring in someone else instead?

    A. Mitchell

    or

    B. Smith-Rowe?
