But when looking at say the top 50 major cites in the US, nearly all run by democrats. So always having the population advantage.
Republicans need to run more cites for sure, how they do that I dunno.

By changing their political platform such that it's more agreeable to people who live in cities?

I worry about the data leak. Some nut job taking vigilante action would just escalate things. The terrorists need to be brought to justice and vigilante behaviour is obviously not justice.

For a group calling Biden a communist and the most extreme left wing ticket ever they sure are now suddenly interest in unity and sure what's a little treason between colleagues.

This is just like walking up to someone and pu ching them and then ask g to suddenly be friends when you realise they are still standing.

May as well let everyone go from prison. It is just increasing the divide between them, their families and the rest of the country by putting them in jail sure.

Biden needs protecting, telling everyone he's coming to his inauguration via amtrak train is stupid.

''Amtrak Joe'' is his nickname apparently, travels with public a lot.

    Some wacko could try something.

That's the quote then... She did say what I quoted .

Her proposals were not unreasonable, especially when given context. For example, conducting checks on those with a history of mental health problems, to see if they are keeping weapons is not a bad idea. The idea of enacting fair gun legislation shouldn't even be considered as stirring the pot at any point. That sector of Trump's support will always be paranoid lunatics who don't want reasonable gun control laws enacted.

Surprised the left-centre in Ireland and Scotland haven’t pressured businesses to cut ties with Trump yet. Doonbeg suppliers (if any) and other business interests here.

The Harris Administration state that economic business relief will be made based in part on race & gender, that they will be made a priority. We get a glimpse into the systemic racial discrimination that white people can expect to face in the coming years. This sort of blatant Democratic racism is nothing new.

There's me thinking that businesses received aid based on government economic criteria, not to prioritize businesses based on skin color or gender, you'd have thought that aid would be equally provided or distributed to business suffering. Discrimination based on race and sex includes white people and remains unlawful under federal law. I thought their goal was to unify the country. Nothing says unity and healing like segregation. The Democrats want to prove they're not racist & sexist by being racist & sexist!

Biden hasn't even started the job yet and here he is promoting his intentions for the implementation of institutionalized racism.

I was kidding. The whole nonsense of fcking your way to power is silly.

Republican policies aren't as compatible with big cities. Immigration, minimum wage, guns, public housing projects, community programs, LGBT rights etc. The GOP don't really do a lot of city oriented policy.

    True, works both ways.

Democrats like the 2.5 kids , the dog named rover, and the white picket fence.
While republicans could have 10 plus kids lol .

He got that nickname as he insisted on communting, as a single father, home from the capital to see his children every night

It's the same argument they have about mail-in voting..

Instead of trying to build a more popular political brand/viewpoint , the GOP response to losing all but one popular vote in the last 32 years is to try to make it harder to vote or to claim that every vote cast in a city was somehow fraudulent.

Yes, a post caught my eye on on Brexit thread (I think, haven't bothered to double check) in politics forum yesterday.

Was calling our (i.e. Irish) civil servants (Revenue & Customs) "crooks" + implying they thieve money off people. Pretty strong stuff!

If he's an Irish resident [or god help us a full citizen now] should assimilate to the local culture (similar to what US Republicans expect of all good immigrants to the US) and let go of the poison US wing nut hatred and suspicion of governments and their officials at the Irish border.

I should think it would be harder to go after Donald Trump if he skips out to a country which lacks an extradition treaty with the USA.

After that, they're expected to descend upon Powder's Ice Cream in the same city, for removing their favourite flavour from the menu, citing 'freedom of peach'.

I'm actually surprised to see Saudi Arabia doesn't have an extradition agreement with the USA considering their decades old security agreement. He's got hotels there so wouldn't be surprised if he scoots off there.

SA just signed some agreements for weapons yet to be delivered, I doubt they'll put them at risk for a heathen like donny.

Obviously not caused, but certainly not helped. Obviously Trump has been the instigator in chief, but both sides of the political divide in the US have played their part in heightening tensions.

    https://twitter.com/jason_howerton/status/1300520249196978176

Listen, that's Whataboutery at it's worst! First there's a big difference between saying things and actually doing them. I know a lot of people who have uttered the words about different people "I want to kill them", but i don't know anyone who's an actual killer.

Nancy Pelosi or any of the Democrats have never incited violence anywhere near the scale of Donald Trump, who tries to act like a Mob boss. As I said over 4 years ago when people were Wrongly comparing Hillary to Trump and said they were both criminals, I said - "it's like comparing someone who stole a loaf of bread to Charles Manson and saying they are both criminals". Trump's crimes and rhetoric are on a whole different level and I don't think there is any US politician anywhere near the criminal scale of Trump and there have been some pretty bad US politicians. There is no comparison!!
