Lot of snowflakes on here who hate it when you give them facts. What will they talk about when the big scary orange man is gone in 9 days? They'll be bored stiff :pac: until 2024 ;)

We saw who the snowflakes were alright.
Those storming the Capitol building and refusing to accept the results of a fair election.

This is just Season 1, we still have civil suits, criminal trials, bankruptcy proceedings, tax fraud among others to look forward to.

People will be getting their fix of all things Trump for a long time to come.

I have thanked two posts here, three to be honest.

Two of those posts had Combat/Oswald user names.

A stopped clock is right twice a day.

B.T.W. ....I think we know that one of those accounts is being ironic.

The left wing media were very quite during the the summer months of anarchy/riots, strange that.

Meanwhile in utopia Chicago this weekend https://abcnews.go.com/US/dead-shooting-spree-chicago-area/story?id=75161881

The hypocrisy of the left is truly embarrassing at this stage.

No they were not. The riots were widely condemned. Your other link is an mass shooter incident, quite common in America, aided by the easy access to guns.

The topic discussed here is the actual president of America undermining free and fair elections, and inciting violence on American soil.

That has not happened before, totally new and dangerous territory.

Never a more appropriate to revisit this. Very prescient for a show written in 2011

can anybody make out what she is screaming?

As much as I’d love this to be true I’m sceptical, if he was on the no fly list there is no way he’d have got past security and over to the gate, not a chance in hell*! I reckon he’s been refused for another reason and is having a sh*tfit because the gate agent said he was a risk or something of the sort!

*unless he was added in the few minutes between him clearing security and boarding time???

Daniel Dale saying it was a mask dispute and not related to the riots?!?

Supposedly nothing to do with the Capitol events. Video taken in November.

Even his golfing buddies don't want anything to do with him anymore.
    Hah hah

Is that all you got, petty insults? grow up.
Lot of snowflakes on here who hate it when you give them facts.

Do you hear that galloping sound?

That's the sound of your high horse buggering off as you lie face down in the mud.

Suddenly the left care about cops?? Didn't seem to care to much during the summer riots, did they? they were the enemy  keep trying pal :pac:

Well we know Trump supporters don't care about them as they dragged one out of the Capitol building and beat him with flagpoles and fire extinguishers. Any chance you could condemn that instead of resorting to whataboutery?

Nah. The only hypocrisy are the Trumptards beating a cop and army veteran to death with an american flag.

    https://edition.cnn.com/2021/01/08/us/brian-sicknick-death/index.html

    Blue Lives Matter right?

Blue Lives Matter when they're defending them for shooting unarmed black people. But when police do their jobs and try and defend Washington from a coup, it changed to "Pigs, Pigs, Pigs" chants and the thin blue line flags are being ripped up.

Really shows them in a new light and I hope members of all law enforcements realise that these guys couldn't give a shít about them.

It's funny when Donnie's disciples try and take the high ground over petty insults

Self awareness straight out the window

In many cases they are the law enforcement.

I honestly laughed like a hyena when that Trumptard terrorist woman got shot. Her tits hanging out while she's gasping her last breath.

The best part? Trump called her a criminal the next day and the rest of the MAGAtards called her an Antifa plant.

Her entire life ended with this eternal humiliation.

    They did this to themselves.

Wow. The site allows this type of comment???

What about this terrorist? She got what she deserved. But they could've given the other terrorists outside some hot lead too
To be honest, while certain things like just letting them walk into and through the building as they pleased, and then letting them walk off scott free after attempting a coup (even helping them down the steps on the way out) were utterly disgraceful, I think the police handled their response in a reasonable way by slowly moving forward and pushing them out rather than swinging like madmen trying to bludegon anything and everything in their eyeline.

It did prove the BLM protests/riots absolutely right in terms of their point though, it was obvious before but wasn't as much on the forefront as Wednesday made it - there are very, very different standards as to how different groups in America are treated by law enforcement.

    There are a few theories.

Mask Dispute is an obvious one , there's also the suggestion that it might be an Airline ban rather than an actual "No fly list" thing for previous mis-behaviour - like those screaming at Mitt Romney on a flight a few days before.

I've read several reports about flights with people chanting "Stop the steal" and the like and refusing requests to stop on flights on the way to DC earlier in the week.

That's a far more likely scenario.

    And? Who cares lol.

Trumptards are terrorists and should be executed and imprisoned.
Petty insults? Nah man Trumptards are not even human. At this stage it might quite literally be justified to assault on-sight anyone wearing MAGA or TRUMP attire.

They're not even human anymore. They're just terrorists and walking gun targets.

Plus another totally offensive, now deleted post

It is very clear that Trump et al are trying to deflect from Wednesday by shifting the talking points to big tech and censorship.

While there are larger questions about the role that media companies play in american politics, the reality here is that Trump has had the biggest podium for the last four years. He had the daily press briefings and he chose to stymie those by making them less and less frequent, and instilling successive liars to brow beat and attack the free press with snide remarks.

The main reason he has a beef with having his twitter account shut down is because the people he wants to speak to don't sit in front of the tv as they don't like any pushback from the press. Trump doesn't like dissent, nor do his folk. He likes echo chambers. It is simple for him to say on twitter outrageous stuff and try and ban anyone (irony alert) who gives him grief over it.

A free press, warts and all, are required for a democracy. Trump attacked them from day one.

And people said they didn't see this authoritarian move coming.

Trump supporters don't have the attention span to watch a press conference. That's why he prefers Twitter; one way, simplistic communication that he doesn't have to answer questions on. It's the perfect format for him and his base.

Supposedly Parler has been been hacked. In which case we should be expecting a lot of data dumps in near future. Apparently they never actively deleted content, just marked it as not visible effectively. Never felt less sympathy for a group of people.

It was brought up by another poster, but one key aspect that is abundantly clear is the online radicalisation is not confined to Muslims and jihadists.

Clearly many on the right, particular those that follow Trump and certainly those that were involved in DC at week, have been radicalised to the point where they are willing to attack their own country.

They now need to put as much effort into containing and reversing this radicalisation as they have into Muslim radicalisation.

Been a few rumors about that over the last few months and not verified and in some cases proven not to be the case.

There has been a lot of chat on different discussion forums about it, and given that if possible the grab would be for SSN and similar data that their verified accounts have to provide.

Thing is is that the radicalisation is embedded and institutionalised in the American media. I was trying to make the point late last week that it's not people with mental health issues that stormed the capitol, while these people may exhibit traits of paranoia and anxiety similar to mental illness, these symptoms are expressed due to radicalisation rather than any mental health problems
