NTL BBC2 sound & C4 dubbing?

I have NTL analogue and recently the sound on BBC2 has become louder and more distorted - other channels are fine so its not my TV. Also picture on Channel 4 is frequently out of sync with the sound - Sex and the City last week was particularly bad - looked like a dubbed godzilla movie. anyone else noticed this?

Yeah I have the CH4 problem with the sound being out of sync with the picture, which I must say is damn annoying. I've checked digital and it seems to be ok, so it looks like this problem is confined to analogue. No idea whats causing it - anyone else ?
