Anyone got this type of stand? Are they worth it and anyone think might be better option?

Moved into new home few months back and Missus does not want me near walls:pac:

Yes definitely but once I get there it's not far to the stage where thinks start going downhill.

When the pubs were open mine was about 4, but after a couple more it would go bad quickly, some of the lads could peg all night. I hated being picked 5th or last to throw :D

    Benito vd Pas
    Martin Schindler
Richard North - was fairly regular in the euro tour events in 2019
    Simon Stephenson
and Gerwtn Price's practive buddy Barrie Bates

Id say Q school is so tough and could be quite tense

Winning a card and bye bye day job

With the current restrictions in the UK and Europe, it's far from certain that Q School will be able to go ahead.

I managed to get into one of the days Q School in Wigan in 2017 for a look. Jese it's not good for the nerves knowing what it meant to them!

I played in a few of those online boards tournaments back in the day. They were fun. Still pick up the darts now and again. Got a new set for the first time in about 25 years just before Christmas so started firing at the board again. No matter how long I leave it I always seem to end up with an average between 55-65. New darts the same!

Speaking of suspected cheating in online games dart connect had a free trial on during the worlds. One of the first games I set up I hit a 180 first throw, I think I’ve only got 3 in total with the new darts. I’d say it raised a few suspicions with my opponent, especially following up with 33 and 26.

Might be interested if there’s an event happening again. Haven’t used a cam before and lighting on the board is a bit crap but could give it a go if needed.

made my debut on webcamdarts.com this evening having been inspired by the chatter on here last week
Thought it was great, had a few games , got my ass kicked mostly, but enjoyed it!
managed to average in the low 40's :) which surpisingly was good enough to win a few legs
Think i'll stick at it see can I improve a bit

Fair play. It's a great site. Stick at it a few weeks and you'll see your average improve. Always play fellas with a better average than you, less missed doubles less frustrating.

Can anyone recommend the best app to use that lets you use a smartphone as a webcam. Trying to get setup for online darts

Yeah the 70e one, unicorn dart mate tri or something like that. Board was separate, and the surround also separate.

Tbh the stands all seem to be the same, they're just repurposed PA Speaker stands.

I got the stand, a blade 5, a surround, a set of darts and a few spare flights stems etc for 210e on 501darts.

Will probably get one of those lighting systems in a week or two they look slick

    still waiting, ****ing Brexit :(

Manycams is one there are others I will let you know if I can think of them. Your better off buying a webcam though I got mine for 35 odd on Amazon and its alot less hassle.
