    DeKalb playing chill, like Nevada.
Am I right in saying if DeKalb swings to both Dem candidates that it then gives both Dems the overall win?

DeKalb has about 200,000 votes yet to be counted. 171k are early votes, and 30k from today. Dems (Ossoff is the one I checked) got 87% of votes counted so far.

DeKalb County to do a vote dump I the next few minutes and should flip both back to Dems.

Vote dump will only be 130k and not 170k as originally thought.

    Perdue is just about unassailable.

Seems there's 130k left to count and not in total. The CNN guy at the centre misspoke to John King. We're back in the game.

Apparently only 130k votes available in DeKalb?

    Not enough.

    Not enough.

Misinterpreted numbers by CNN it seems.

    Numbers are flying down now.

    Numbers are flying down now.

    If it's 130k it's over.

    If it's 170k dems win.

171k left in DeKalb according to Gabriel Sterling.

Here comes the conspiracies if so.

Here comes the conspiracies if so.

Apparently all counties published early voting counts before today. Conspiracy debate over if so.

This misreporting is going to be like a flame to a moth. The whole thing hangs on this.

Sterling said there were 171k early votes awaiting counting, PLUS 30k from today, according to Pamela Brown of CNN earlier.

Trump may have lost the gop the senate.

He is a cancer on everything he touches.

    Perdue 2100 votes ahead

    Warnock 32000 votes ahead

    94% counted in DeKalb county

    94% counted statewide

So is that looking like 1 seat each?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,247 ✭✭✭✭Kermit.de.frog

    Perdue 7,000 ahead?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,247 ✭✭✭✭Kermit.de.frog

Perdue 20,000 ahead so it looks like gop might hold the senate.

Perdue 20,000 ahead so it looks like gop might hold the senate.

    Down to 3700 now.

Most votes left are gonna be heavily swinging Dem.

Lots of counting yet to be done. Eg. DeKalb has another 16k+ votes to be counted. They ought to break almost net 10k+ for Ossoff..

Be insane if the dems took the two seats in Georgia! Trump a complete disaster for the republicans.

    Perdue's lead is down to 456! 4-5-6!

Warnock has it. Over 34000 ahead now.

The split voting Warnock-Perdue voters really have to think about what they were at!

Right now, Perdue is only 384 ahead of Ossoff!!!

    What's left (vote wise)?

I wouldn't have expected it, but then it should not be a surprise. Partisan politics, in theory, should guarantee a victory, but there is always a middle swing vote and Trump has been driving a Humvee into that minefield.

Most of the outstanding votes are in Dem-leaning counties. Then post-in votes postmarked by election day can be counted if received by ?Friday?

So, Ossoff/Perdue is all to play for still, but leaning Dem IMHO.

The NYT is predicting Ossoff quite strongly and have been all night.

"We think about 93,000 votes remain. If that's right, Ossoff would need to win about 51 percent of those votes. We think he's on track to win between 57 and >95 percent. (Our best guess is 77 right now)"

Tonight's 'result' and the GOP performance is going to be an exploding hand grenade in the Senate tomorrow. There's nooo way the seditionists should be allowed to continue with their farce electoral college shenannigans. What would they be doing it for? Fighting against the Constitution to support a failed moron who has basically cost them the Senate??? This is the end of Trump!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,247 ✭✭✭✭Kermit.de.frog

Time to turn on Fox News! :D

Extraordinary by any standard. And all down to Trump at the end of the day basically telling his OWN republican supporters it's all rigged - well, why vote then?, i'm sure they thought

Conservatives on Twitter are incredible. Talking about how they're too tired so going to bed but looking forward to waking up to Conservative victories unless, something illegal happens during the night.........

The Republicans have only themselves to blame for this one. Party unity, normally a strong point for them, has utterly failed, with the various personages looking after their own interests in the post Presidential season in their own districts instead of stopping to think how it would reflect upon the known soon-to-be election in Georgia, and the party's control as a whole.

It's simply astonishing how they picked Trump in the first place.
It's like how we picked Dustin the turkey or those red-head twins to represent us in the Eurovision.

Voting for any other reason than what you should be.
