Price isn't winning this no way

Price starting to come back into this, bunting needs to win the next set

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,038 ✭✭✭boomdocker

    Turning point.should have been 4-1

Why did they get rid of winning the final set by two clear legs until it got to 5-5?

this year. because of covid they needed time to clear the crowd out between sessions.

that was before crowds were banned.

Bunting would make you tear your hair out, the amount of times he hasn't captilised on a mistake from Price

  • Registered Users Posts: 823 ✭✭✭Coneygree

Wonder will Bunting have the stamina if this goes 9+ sets

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,268 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

Bit of a shift with Price getting on top

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,268 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

    Some checkout there by Bunting

He has checked out big finishes quite a few times with Price sitting on a double!

Would like nothing more than to see Price knocked out here.

The face on Price when that D20 went in. :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,461 ✭✭✭Bob Harris

Bunting rose from the ashes to win that set. Anyone's game still.

That was huge to win that set against the darts from 2-0 down.

148 in leg 3 with Price sitting on 20 and then that finish in leg 5 was class.

Hope Bunting beats that noisy show off.

Thary last set was a big one I though bunting was wavering.

Price fairly hit the turbo in that set, unreal scoring and finishing

Can’t be too many sports where the lack of an audience improves the viewing experience.

They have learnt very well from both other sports and the start of the tournament, they have the crowd noise almost perfect now, they'd a few mistakes earlier on and other sports having it silent ruined it, I found the snooker particularly hard to watch.

Hope Bunting beats that noisy show off.

Celebrating a 180 in the middle of a leg and then keeping his hand on the board for a bit longer when taking the darts out was bad form I thought

Price starting to dominate the match now

Can't stand Price, would love to see him beaten here. C'mon Bunting!

Bunting with 3 darts at 80 and he doesn't even get a shot at a double. Criminal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,970 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

Once Bunting lost the 5th set I knew he'd regret it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,268 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

Bunting played unbelievable and has every right to be proud and hopefully he keeps that sort of form for the future

Great scoring from Price even when his head was down, will be hard to stop in the final. No way will he tone down his celebrations either

  • Registered Users Posts: 560 ✭✭✭Morris Moss

It was their for bunting if he had a bit more composure, fair play to price though, he has some bottle

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,285 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

Price has some will to win and bottle.

I don't think it improves it being honest. Not saying it's not a great viewing experience, it is, and far better than i thought it would be but having a crowd there can't be beaten IMO.

    Great stuff
Now I hope Anderson beats Chizzy so Price can batter him in the final

Sums it up nicely. Hopefully Anderson or Chizzy absolutely spanks him though.

Hopefully it's Anderson, never liked Chisnell for some reason, but the way he's playing he has to be favourite.

Price is a great player, but ruins it with stupid fcking roaring and posing, really annoying and over the top.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,970 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

I've a feeling Anderson will win this handy, 6-1 or 6-2

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,553 ✭✭✭murphyebass

    Anderson’s likeable to be fair.

Chizzy seems grand but no one has ever understood a word he’s said so it’s hard to judge.

Price is an amazing darts player too though but like Lewis Hamilton is a very unlikeable person.

    6-4 or 6-5 here with about 50 180s.

Anyone else find the cheerleaders a bit cringe?

    Yes.

They should bring the walk on girls back.

Delighted for Price and really hope he wins tomorrow night!

Which darts player do you hate the most, and why is it Price?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,553 ✭✭✭murphyebass

    Yes.

They should bring the walk on girls back.

How did they keep them in darts but in no other sport?

Not complaining but as an F1 fan they were gotten rid of unfortunately.

I’m fairly sure they’re gone from boxing too.

It was demeaning to the women apparently but no one in the outrage brigade seemed to care about the girls who were happy to do it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,983 ✭✭✭Degag

I believe they removed the walk-on girls cause of the sexist connotations but for some reason kept the dancers:confused:
