Happy days - that gives me two extra players in GW18. with Villa and City having a double. Bit of a game changer.

Think that makes me want to move Kane on and Grealish will get a bit of stay of execution now.

I am now considering not Free Hitting in 18.

I'd have 9 players without taking a hit, including KDB Son and Bruno. Not sure how much value the free hit provides there

    The Chris Wood gang delighted.

Hmm, despite just getting him back in, and saying that i was never taking him back out - Son out for Rashford looks like a bit of a no brainer given form and fixtures, ugh. with United having a game in 18 and double in 19,

I've 7 for GW17. Could potentially bring myself up to 9 or 10 or just free hit.

if you only have 7 for GW17, how many you got for GW18. :pac:

    So here's my rough plan.

Sticking with FH for GW 18, looks more appealing with United added.

Will need to revert my KDB --> Son transfer from last week. Will probably do this before GW 19. Will have to downgrade Grealish (even though he has a DGW) to Raafinha to get Dias in for Taylor and Forster --> McCarthy. If Taylor is fit might look at something different

This leaves me with 13 DGW players, Kane and Brewster the exceptions. The latter is not ideal but will more than likely go with it and Bench Boost

    EDIT

I could keep Grealish and do Kane --> Jesus. Gives me 14 DGW. Will decide closer the time

Yeah it's changed things completely for me. I'm now considering KdB TC for gw19(while having 11 doublers), and can probably get 9-10 starters for gw18, all without taking any hits, and with other chips in my pocket to use later on.

Edit: alternately I could take a -8 or -12 to have a team I'd be happy to BB with in gw19. As is I have 10 (incl 2 keepers) who are due a double in gw19..

Not having Bruno and/or Rashford in your team, the BGW18 was a real treat and a chance to catch up on rivals as they were missing multiple players so 9 or 10 players was enough, but now that there is a game + a DGW19, it changes so much.

    EDIT:

But is that fear justified when I'm looking at having Sterling & Aguero for Brighton, Palace & Villa all at home, versus Bruno & Fernandes at Liverpool, Burnley & Fulham all away. The difference in scores might not be worth ripping up the team for. Man City have fixtures, Man Utd have form.

Imagine City and Aguero from 2 years ago - and those 3 games city have over GW18/19 - Brighton, Palace and Villa, teams be ripped up to get him in. Sadly his injury record, coupled with Pep roulette and his price tag will put many off.

Yeah just looked at it myself. I will likely do the same as I was in the same position. I thought I was genius targeting Man City and Spurs backfired this week.

At this stage I am just trying to see can I field a decent XI with all DGW's.

Now I have the nice problem of who to play in goal Johnstone/Martinez.

BB not worth it for me as I have Brewster and Ferguson - unless I figure out a way of getting rid of them.

At this stage I am seriously considering TC on Sterling or KDB. DGW 19 especially if aguero looks like getting minutes.

But now I am left with the conundrum of whether to start Dier.
I have no Fernandes as well and I feel priced out of him at this stage - likely to get bit double digits etc. So a rashford move would be one done in hope rather than expectation.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

It didn't put me off, and I thought having Aguero for the games leading up to the those GWs might have allowed me to steal a march.

Now with the fixtures being changed, it is putting more doubts in the choice. But he just might be fresh enough to play in those games, they are somewhat nicely spaced apart and City have some great January fixtures overall. Gonna have to just take the chance.

Now have 8 for gw18 now if Taylor is ok to play so free hit will probably be kept for another time.

BB could become more lucrative with City double. Pity they've only scored 6 in their last 5 though.

Fairly bad sign when Gundogan is one of their best options attacking wise at the moment.

Having Aguero for those match, and even putting the armband on him for the DGW could change your season changer, but equally it could go horrible wrong - ala the Sane a few years ago - i think he got 1 point over a DGW, and the other obv city choice got 40+. Hugh swings - some on here still haven't gotten over it :P

If he got any sort of decent game time this GW and a goal or two a few heads might be turned.

Was that the time City played Stoke loads Aguero TC and one of the best players over the Double Gameweek from the two teams turned out ot be Pieters or something?

Will still need to replace Mahrez as he won't play both and he's been nothing but a frustration so I've 12.2 to spend on a keeper and midfielder and then I'll bench boost for all doubles bar Brewster who can stay I suppose

Cavani will be back in time for the DGW also. Another option. His 3 game ban is mostly cup ties.

Another factor is which Man United striker will get minutes over the Double Gameweeks Cavani and Martial are both very capable on their day. Worth a gamble on one of them?

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

WC GW16 looks like some waste now as the players I got rid of are now ones I want back.

    This is fair messy!

Your better off not even trying to plan this season.

Have 4 FTs between now and GW19 so (assuming no injuries :pac:) I can have 15 DGWers

    Martinez, Johnstone
    Dias, Chilwell, Dallas, Coufal, Lowton
    Fernandes, KDB, Salah, Grealish, Soucek
    Bamford, Adams, Wood.

Soucek could be El Ghazi and Lowton could be a Man U defender as I have about 1m itb.

:D Great minds think alike and all that.

Because he is missing the 3 games soon, that means that Martial basically has to start at least 2 games coming up, possibly a 3rd.

I'd think that this means Martial gets a rest with Cavani starting away at Burnley, and switching back with Martial coming back in for DGW19.1 away to Liverpool as Man Utd will start deep and play on the counter with 5-3-2 Rashford & Martial up top. Cavani as a sub maybe, and then he starts against Fulham again in DWG19.2 as that games is a midweek game again.

Getting starts out of Cavani against Fulham & Burnley would be a decent return from those 3 games IMO. Let him do his scoring in those games, and blank against Liverpool :)

I was having a look there I could get 14 DGW plus Dier with a -8. but it would mean having no Man United and bringing in Leeds players who I wish I had last gameweek.

In my case I think going TC on one of the Man City players and getting eleven DGW players or 10 plus Dier seems the best. Plus hope that the TC works out and covers those who BB.

Loads of options depending on how people's teams are set.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.
