Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    GSC Game World owner Sergiy Grygorovych announced the game’s existence via Facebook today, providing a link to a new official website. All that’s there is a STALKER 2 logo with 2021 printed underneath, as well as the email address presumably there for newsletter sign-ups. If any doubt remained, the game is also now shown on GSC Game World’s main website.

    Has better odds than HL3 at this point tbh.

    Seen this earlier on Reddit and couldn't believe it. Then read the actual comments and realised not much might come of it. I'm gonna stay positive though. I'd love another stalker game.

    Yeah, there have been a few false dawns already, which makes me hugely skeptical. But I'll keep everything crossable crossed, as I love the series.

    If it happens ,at least they've given everyone plenty of time to save up for a beast of a pc to play it on.. I remember the original game wrecking gfx cards back in the day..

    Too bad they lied about the release date, was suppose to be a series x day one exclusive, probably not what the game will look like either.

    I snarked in another thread about Witcher being EuroJank... now Stalker 1, that was some janky àss game back in the day. One that never delivered half what was promised but still a deeply atmospheric, evocative experience. Never did play any of the follow ups though, had heard features got added after...

    I think you may have misread the stories on this one, it's an XBox console exclusive at launch, not an XBox console launch exclusive :)

    It's been a while since I played them but the second one wasn't great, third one was class though. Janky games but absolutely brilliant. Can't wait for this to get released.

    Call of Pripyat was amazing and well worth replaying with some mods!
