Songs that get on your t*ts

Betty Davis Eyes. Something about how it goes up and down - "she'll TEEEASE you, she'll UNEEEASE you, all the better just to PLEEEASE you. It just gets on my wick and I change the station any time it comes on.

And current flavour of the month is Diamonds by that tube Sam Smith. Repetitive and obnoxious, and sung in his/her/its/their horrible high pitched whiny voice.

    Any obvious candidates I've missed?

    Napalm Death 'you suffer',
It just goes on and on and on, to the point where you think will it ever end.

    That Brimful Of Ash's song
    Repetitive nonsense
Anything Sam Smith sings sounds like a dog in pain

    It's by the Saw Doctors.

    Stay by East 17.

An instantly forgettable song but because they had snow in the video it's now permanently viewed as a Christmas song even though the song has nothing at all to do with Christmas and now I can't avoid hearing it every year.

The song 'one horse town' by the Thrills.

That lead singer Conor Deasey can't hold a note, or anything.
It is as if he is only working off one lung, and only is using 1/100th of it due to breathing difficulties. In fact if the song came out today surely it would be reason alone to test him for covid19.

Shortness of breath, gasping for air and a whiney noise.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Dance Monkey and anything by Tones and I - she’s exactly what I imagine a brain injury from a traumatic fall or car accident would sound like it if it could sing.

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,240 ✭✭✭✭gormdubhgorm

A newer Irish song that is damn annoying and repetitive.
Woman from Limerick telling people what her name is for four minutes non-stop.
    And spelling it out.

    Get a songwriter?

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

'Mull of Kintyre'. A dreadful, repetitive, out of tune sounding dirge.

Disgustingly, it sold more than any Beatles' single did and for added insult, knocked Abba's fantastic 'Name of the Game' off Number 1.

    ...I'm on a wave...I'm on a wave......the end...

Sounds so pretentious and self satisfied. Puke.

    Watermelon Sugar

Just don't like the singer's voice there and the song is overplayed on the radio.

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,581 ✭✭✭✭The Princess Bride

    Fairground Attraction and Perfect.
I can't turn it off fast enough, horrible song.

George Ezra and Shotgun, coming in a very close 2nd.
