No reason the Euros can't be pushed out a little. It's not as if travelling fans will be discommoded.

But what if every other league in Europe can finish in time but the premier league can't. Will UEFA agree to the Euros being delayed over one league?

The Euro's, The COPA America, The Olympic football, The under 20 World Cup, The under 21 Euro's are all happening next summer will they all be pushed for the Premier League.

Only one league being affected is highly slim.

How many pointless and boring international breaks between now and May? They could reduce those....

Hard to shout for either manager. I suppose Sam edges it.

Can’t take to Bielsa at all. Not sure what all the fuss is about.

His team seems to play the same way regardless if they are leading 3-0 or losing 0-3. If he was a younger English manager (Eddie Howe anyone ?) he’d be laughed out of the place, for being naive, but because he’s foreign it’s some masterstroke.

Then there’s the time he was caught cheating in ‘spygate’. Sending spies to watch his opponents training sessions, all season, to gain an unfair advantage. Sending the spies with the tools they needed to break in and then watch (binoculars) the training sessions. Pretty disgusting form of cheating. I think his defence was that everyone does it.

We should be able to teach children integrity, sportsmanship and endeavour through sport. Not teach them that cheating is acceptable.

I think that cheating/spying was in the season they won promotion too.

Then his refusal to speak English seems weird and childish. I’ve read it’s because he doesn’t want to insult English people by speaking it poorly but I’ve also read it’s because he doesn’t want to make a mistake and for his English to be misinterpreted. Neither seem an acceptable explanation.

Whereas Sam just seems greedy but we are already used to that in soccer.

I’d still rather watch the current Leeds playing than a Sam team but I’d like to see them relegated and to try and win promotion without the cheating.

Hopefully Sam gets relegated too and I don’t have to watch his style of football. Hopefully once relegated club owners will stop reaching out to him too.

Bielsa is a breadth of fresh air to the league, plays attractive attacking football unlike the agricultural Big Sam approach , I pity West Brom supporters having to endure it.

Teams should have blasted their players with covid and got them all infected before one of those prolonged international breaks earlier in the season. Inhumane for sure but would stop them getting it in dribs and drabs over the season.

One international break in March but they’re qualifiers for World Cup so not pointless.

If you contact prime customer support they’ll have it changed in time for the games to be available on Irish prime. Just tell them you are working in the Uk and would like to have the UK catalogue. Was fixed in 10mins for me.

I have now tv too but you’ll only have 1 or 2 (I think just the one) game available with the rest only available on the red button which isn’t an option with now tv. Edit - Brighton game on premier 1 and Leeds game on premier 2.

Premier Sports analysis might be even worse than MOTD.

I fancy Arsenal to beat Brighton. Just looking at Graham Potter's Premier League record at Brighton. 54 points in 53 matches. Hughton in his 2 seasons had 76 in 76 games.

Potter has put out a very weak side against Arsenal. He seems to be unaware that he has them in a relegation battle.

Simon Harris is monitoring the situation...

    When would they be played?
This season is already at bursting point with no free weekends & season finishing early in hope Euro 2020 will go ahead.

    53K cases in UK today.
This season is going to be over soon.
Scrapping (or postponing until after the Euros and before the leagues start back) the FA Cup would be one way of freeing up dates.

One way or another there will be more fixture congestion now if they do take a 2 week break, not to mention the games that already require to be rescheduled.

    Horrendous from West Brom

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,233 ✭✭✭kowloonkev

A bit harsh on both these teams playing 6pm on Tuesday having played Sunday, especially West Brom who were playing Liverpool less than 48 hours ago. I really don't get the scheduling sometimes.

I assume you're joking but do you realise how stupid that idea is? What about all the people they contact? Family, coaches, club workers etc/

Also, you do know that getting Covid does not mean that you're immune from re-infection? That's a myth

Robinson basically in a headlock there at the corner - var say it is fine. Hopefully Sam gets his lads to defend them like that when he reviews the footage :pac:

But dont forget Potter plays prettier than Hughton.

Has a referee pundit ever disagreed with an on field ref decision or a VAR decision when they go to the studio to look for an expert opinion.

I've seen Dermot Gallagher do so on Sky in his Monday slot but only in the weakest of "I can see why he made the decision he did, but on balance I'd have decided differently" terms.

Fair play to Bielsa he getting alot of scrutiny for his tactics but he is sitting there all calm on the sideline showing klopp how it should be done against westbrom.

Delighted to see them play well with proper attacking football.
