i'm on premier sports where the commentator made the judgement that the goal was fine as the defenders arm played giroud on side.

didn't think that was a thing.

anyway, i presume its a fine goal

Anyone else think the Pulisic overhead should be looked at? Or, should have been anyway

Much better angle of the Grealish collision there - good decision from the ref.

Don’t think there’s anything need on the Pulisic overhead in first half - clearly accidental.

What the bejesus was Christensen doing out that far to make a collision with Graelish in the first place anyway? Lampard seems to really rate him, but he looks thoroughly rubbish every time I watch him. Has a bit of mobility alright, but has really poor defensive instincts.

Possibly so. I know it's a genuine attempt to play the ball, but if you dont win the ball and catch the opponent in the face, surely falls into dangerous play.

You shouldn't need to catch the opponent for something to fall into dangerous play.

you think bicycle kicks should be red cards

I actually feel bad for people who only watch football on TV and don't realise players are pretending to be injured when they go down

Never said it should be, but just looked at.

Any predictions for today lads? Some decent games.

Palace look dreadful lately but I can see them nicking something against Leicester. It's been awhile since Zaha had one of those amazing games.

Aston Villa have been quite impressive think they can also get a draw

Everton will probably be knackered as wouldn't be used to playing this many games closely. Considering missing some strong players I would have fancied us to get something if we had Richi/Digne playing. Altho City have been pretty facking shyte and we'll have our home fans which will be a big plus

    3 draws today feck it!

Calls like that make me wish I still gambled :( :pac:

You hardly stopped becuase you were making too much money. Blind squirrel and all that.

Both games were fairly listless to watch today. Werner and Havertz might do something after Lampard goes as they've done f**k all so far at Chelsea

No I stopped because it's time consuming and stressful to do it correctly.

    Nothing to do with finances.

1 win in 5 for Chelsea, lampard seriously testing Romans patience. He's got a few games to turn it around if it's not already too late as he committed the cardinal sin of thrashing the players in the media. Dressing room could be gone already.

Whatever about red or no red, the fact that the ref gave a free but didn’t book him was just bizarre.

Genuine attempt at the ball isn’t a licence to kick someone in the face.

Don't know about the dressing room, but Chelsea are certainly not improving under Frank. Saw a good bit of their recent games, some very talented players there, especially in attack, but to me it seems Lampard hasn't a clue how to use them. The most effective weapon he still has is the quick cross to Giroud, who Lampard has tried to do without several times over the last 18 months, but has to recall him eventually.

One of the richest clubs in the world, one of the best resourced and effective academy systems in Europe, a benovelant Billionaire owner digging deep into his pockets..... Time is going to run out there unless something changes soon I think.

How was Villa goal allowed Grealish clearly kicked out to foul the Chelsea CB in the build up?
The goal was scored because AZP had to cover his spot and leave his own?

The goal was allowed because your description of what happened is not what actually happened.

I think he comes across terrible, very arrogant. Your CV as a great footballer has nothing to do with your management career. He's too inexperienced, we criticize Ole for only managing in Norway, this guy has an average season with derby behind him.

Whilst Everton will always have public safety uppermost, we will be requesting full disclosure of all the information that Manchester City provided to the Premier League so the Club can be clear on why this decision was taken.

    Everton not happy at all.
Everton Football Club regret the postponement of tonight’s match against Manchester City - not only for the 2,000 fans who would have been attending, but for supporters on Merseyside and across the world.

Our players were prepared for the game, as were both the team staff and everyone at Goodison. Matchday is the most important date in our calendar. And this was a big one.

Whilst Everton will always have public safety uppermost, we will be requesting full disclosure of all the information that Manchester City provided to the Premier League so the Club can be clear on why this decision was taken.

That reads like Everton were just told it's off and given no detail.

There was a tackle and Grealish clearly kicked out with his left foot?
