Coming up, the most patronising and condescending show in de history of Da Lahv Lahn.....................and dat duz be sayin' somethin' so to speak.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,829 ✭✭✭✭Dan Jaman

Bejaybus, is dere anudder Lahvloyne today?
I would have thought JD had shot his bolt, so to speak, on his special this morning (it was today, wasn't it?).
Mind you, the bonus payments for doing all this extra work for the good of the country, will more than make up for it.

No Hi's and Lo's Show dis year. One positive I guess is we didn't have an appearance on Da Lahv Lahn from Woke McDermott dis year. Every cloud and dat.

I was reading the thread last night so to speak and I may have taken dis up de wrong way so to speak, but did somewan come on wit a self-published buke and dat DAT WASN'T ACTUALLY FOR SALE? Like wtf? Who was she (it's ok, I can say she in dis case as she identified as a she so to speak) related to in RTE?

you would be correct, she had some buuke about her family lineage or some bollix, wasn't really paying attention at this point, but yes she did say the book was a family book and not for sale....fcuking pointless

"De Lahv Lahn is open for childers 16 and under.....or younger".

      Say what now?

    • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,420 ✭✭✭✭sligojoek

"Open to under 16s and even younger"

All hand picked already, I'd opine.

      Personal Highlihts:
      Malachy tearing strips off Joe.
The gold during Katie's time at the helm.
The demise of the racist funny Friday.

      Personal lowlights:
Supporting the Dublin Mint Office after the CEO accounted for Joe with one hand tied behind his back.
      The car keys analogy.
Increased frequency of pet project shows.

Yes, I heard that too. There'll be pregnant women with the phone held to their tummies on the line. Worse still, there'll be couples in the act, on national radio. We'll be able to hear all the heavy breathing and shouting in ecstasy, and that'll just be Joe.

Another interesting factoid about the Oil of Man is that they don’t allow caravans onto the island without a permit. So I was told when I was over there anyway . And permits are very hard to get apparently.
      Now just think what that means . . . . . .

      It's true...

You left out the following lo lights so to speak:
Vampire Funny Fryday Halloween Special -
"When I say it's Vampoyre Funny Fryday, what's been sucked out of it?"
      "DEE ENERGY!!!!"
      "Our dignity"

      ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Truly de wurstest ting to happen in 2020.

      Other disasters:
      Stop COVID Cancelling Christmas Campaign
The coining of the phrase "INEQUALITY Street"
Woke McDermott not emigrating to Australia

"inundated with emails" - he left out "from RTE Staff members".

Would ‘inundated’ be more or less than a ‘slew’?

The Billy Barry kids who were deprived of their annual Late Late Show appearance will be out in force.

He loves the phrase "de eve of Christmas Eve". I anticipate a lot of uses in today's show.
