Raining away here now, didn't know this was gonna have a warning. Yearlings must have seen it as they were down around the yard this morning so into the calving shed for the moment. Took an hour and a half to gather the feckers up

Anyone any idea if we've had more rainfall than normal this year. Wet spring and the last 4 or 5 months have been very wet

E still have a fair bit lingering here, just starting to rain now, 2c so the rain could go to snow or melt away what’s lingering.

Icy breeze, you wouldn’t put a milk bottle out in it.

Snow was nice last night. Went out for a walk in it and it was very peaceful, and cold.

I shudder to think what rain has fallen here in last 2 months in particular, the Seasons have changed utterly in last 20 years, garden has greened up noticeably in last month but you wouldn’t trot a hen over it.

Any land fairly well stocked has seen grass disappear quickly.

Took cattle in at the end of November, land was starting to cut up, had a bit of look around it over the last few days, it amazing how green the fields have gotten but they are fair wet.

Hardy frost out, it was -2 at 6pm.

Started with a hard frost here, -2

Had a good fall of snow from 6am so total whiteout here. Roads Must be bad as I’m seeing no traffic at the moment.

    Mind yourselves folks!

Did a run to the local town at 7 this morning bringing in a worker. Roads were grand in the dry. However I picked up a bit of moisture on the wheels with water across a road and the next bend I nearly did a 360.

Hearing reports of a road fatality in the area this morning.
