I see on a fb group a poster had a dream about their polytunnel blowing away to kingdom come.
They claim a success rate of 204 % of storms coming after their polytunnel dreams.

So anyway there's high winds forecast for Wednesday night/Thursday morning.

    Mind yourselves folks!

Ground still shockingly wet with the water table still being very high. Hoping for a bit of drying today.

Fine cold bright day today after the rain and muck of yesterday. Grass frost last night as well.

Cold. In the house 15 years but probably the nicest early morning view I've seen.

Funny - when I was looking out this morning I thought it was particularly nice as well...

The crispness of the air with a slight fog moving through the air... was lovely...

    Dull overcast day here.

Absolute muck all day, there was a cold dank fog down this morning and it never lifted.

“We are all capable of believing things which we know to be untrue, and then, when we are finally proved wrong, impudently twisting the facts so as to show that we were right. Intellectually, it is possible to carry on this process for an indefinite time: the only check on it is that sooner or later a false belief bumps up against solid reality.” George Orwell.
