Need to book a NCT urgently. What is the best way of getting a quick test? Earliest coming back is Jan 14. Is there a particular time I should be looking online?

Just call the number, you should get one much sooner

Rang them there now and they say there is an extension until April.

Is this kosher as my disc has expired?

There was a 4 month extension added on by the government last March. New discs weren't issued but the Gardaí know to add 4 months to the date on the disc.

If you check the registration of your car on the NCT website it will show the expiry date is 4 month later
