    Sorry forward pass I mean.

Connacht’s game management tonight has been really disappointing, played right into Bristols hands from the start.

  • Registered Users Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

No idea why they won't just take the points

Why the **** did they not take points there? That is beyond brain-dead

  • Registered Users Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

O'Halloran absolutely spot on there. Bizarre decision from Connacht here

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,098 ✭✭✭UAEguy2020

Instead of kicking an easy 3 to get one point we are going to go through all this huffing and puffing to get one point...

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,442 ✭✭✭its_phil

Paul Boyle and Butler need their heads banged together by Friend for that crap.

    To get no points

    That is insanity from Boyle.

TOH's reaction was incredibly subdued considering.

It’s an English team so that’s considered a wrap I presume...

Looked like the decision was made by Boyle, stupid stupid stupid, could be the difference in getting Challenge Cup.

And there’s a surprise...after all a tackle to the head is also not a red nowadays...

If that was Connacht defending the try line and we got penalised I’d find it harsh. The issue was not taking the points

Can anyone come up with any logical reason not to kick 3 there? Risk rewards tell you slot the 3 everytime for me.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,176 ✭✭✭SqueakyKneecap

That is unbelievably stupid. TOH was spot on to be raging. Brainless.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,965 ✭✭✭connachta

Guys we won't win away to Bristol or even home to Racing.
    No Challenge Cup hope
Try for the try was ok.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,098 ✭✭✭UAEguy2020

That last play sums up Connacht tonight, stupid stupid stupid.

    Mul, it's over
    That's Clermont level stupidity.

I don’t give a **** if that was us defending on the line, what’s the point of having a wrap law if you let that go, just like Owen Farrell v SA.

So frustrating because Connacht deserved a LBP from that game. Wasn't just Boyle's decision to take the scrum, Delahunt raced off to take a quick tap in front of the posts as well.

It was insanity.. I'm completely flabbergasted. I've seen us shoot ourselves in the foot a time or two but that's a new level.

Tackle was fine, both his arms were out
