What is everyone talking about here? Mayo are losing because of the curse.

Never mind splitting the county in two.

Making Dublin play blind-folded and removing an arm from Fenton and Kilkenny might seem fairer.

Lying on the ball to kill the play and then lie down pretending you're injured. Really horrible stuff to watch.

Mayo throwing digs at half-time and full-time. Sure at least they have that.

The attitude expressed in your post is why Dublin keep winning. Lots of complaining and whining - these games are won before the throw in. Like Dublin in the 2000s, there’s lots of talk about wanting to win but the hard mentality and will to do the difficult thing isn’t there.

    Dublin just want it more.

Well with Coldrick that was always likely.

Having the ref let rules not apply to one team will help considerably.

Yeah Mayo wasted a lot of shots towards the end but they put in a very good performance today , they can take a lot of positives from 2020 , this Dublin team are on another level , unfortunate for Mayo and very bad for the game over all as its become a complete bore in its predictability

no one gets close to getting close to them in truth

Awful to watch Dublin diving and killing time. As if they don’t have enough tricks to hand

And if the shoe was on the other foot, you think Mayo would not be doing the same?

Too many mistakes by Mayo, otherwise the game was there for the taking

If there strategy wasn't man marking without the ball and cynical drag backs, they might have had a chance.

Dublin kicking the ball around that ultra defensive strategy which you cannot do when you are behind in the game.

There's a thread waiting I'm sure about splitting up Dublin because its all not fair.

    UP the DUBS.

For f**k sake, open handed push to the back of the head because he grabbed O Shea's ankle..

    Then he's down seeking attention.

    The playacting is too much.

No point blaming the referee, Mayo are totally inept at trying to beat Dublin. Their lack of consistantly scoring forwards is their downfall. Andy Moran was their only class forward for many years.

Fair enough calling them inept, as opposed to who else though?

Ref gives a free out. Joke

Dublin....diving to waste time. Dublin.....not allowed to tackle them.....Dublin....not allowed to get the black/yellow/frees against them.

    What a joke

Greatest of all time!!! 6 in a row!

    Enjoy talking about funds lads.

Keep telling yourself that, the Dublin self bukkake session gets tiring at this stage, makes the D4 rugby "Roysh" lads seem sound.

    Just blow up. Dreadful spectacle!

Ref has been bad for Mayo, but their decision making has been worse.

Classic mayo choke job. Got scared when they went a man up decided to sit back. Then they went back to their usual wild shooting and dropping balls into the goalies hands. Long may it continue

Speaks volumes about how little interest there is in this “championship” any more

Shame on the gaa for ruining the competition and allowing financial doping for dublin

Mayo beat the handicap! Y'up Mayo +6! Great day for the parish my wallet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 221 ✭✭greensausage

It's gonna be 7,8,9 in a row. It's one professional team against the rest. Must kinda kill dub fans even though they'd never admit it yee haven't won an all Ireland fairly since 1995.

6 in a row, what an achievement, we might never see something like this in Irish sport again

Mayo did put it up them and no doubt will be back. The result shows that Dublin can be beaten

In fairness to mayo they beat the handicap, should be a prize for that alone.

Is cluxton the oldest player to win an all Ireland senior on field of play?

    2022 #Eight would be great
    2023 #Nine would be fine
    2024 #Ten for the men
2034 #Twenty is not too plenty
    2064 #Fifty would be nifty

Who cares anymore? Football is officially dead

Its actually quite sad to think some will celebrate the ten like it was any sort of contest :pac:
