Hi all, I'm doing a bathroom and need to raise the floor up about 20mm, is it possible to do this with normal leveling compound or is there a special compound for deep floors like this, thanks

What kind of tiles are laying?
To answer your direct question, yes, there are various types of self levelling compounds generally up to 50mm

Tile type/size is relevant, for example small mosaic tiles may benefit from cement board to ensure the floor is perfectly level.
