Erstwhile Westlife crooner who carved a briefly successful solo career, hit the spotlight due to his short-lived marriages to Kerry Katona and Vogue Williams and then for the last few years, very very little...

Sinead Desmond
Lit up our screens first thing in the morning for many years as the bubbly co-host of Ireland AM on the then TV3, went down the legal route in questioning her salary and since then, nada, nothing, zilch,

DJ Carey
Supremely gifted Kilkenny hurler, one of Ireland's most famous sportsmen throughout the '90s, a regular on chat shows, travel programmes and a high profile romance with one of the Dragons in Dragon's Den and since then fading radio silence...

Anyone know what these three are up to and can you add anyone else to the list of formerly famous Irish people who have disappeared from the public eye.

Disappeared from the public eye as opposed to famous is probably the best way describe these 3

DJ Carey runs a cleaning company. Sinead Desmond is or appears to be a journalist for magazines and newspapers.

DJ Carey is part of the Kilkenny senior hurling management team, before that he was manager of the Carlow IT hurling team. Regularly see him around Kilkenny, by all accounts one of the nicest guys you’ll meet.
