Chemist Warehouse, Australia’s largest pharmacy retailer, has opened its first European store at Westend Shopping Park in Dublin, creating 30 jobs.

The company has taken 5,000 sq. ft. of space at the Blanchardstown retail park with plans to open two further Dublin stores next year and roll out nationwide after that.

Chemist Warehouse offers discounted prices on health and pharmaceutical products and operates 460 stores, employing 8,000 staff in Australia, New Zealand and China.

Havn't been in the store yet to see how big the discounts are compared to other chemists, but good to see another option out there.

Does it fill prescriptions as normal too or is it just painkillers and johnnie's and the like?

Paying 39 instead of 60 EUR for one of my prescriptions.
    Happy enough!
