Digital Download in Bricks & mortar shop

    We got the lad a xbox S for his Christmas and want to get him cold war to go along with it. We want to buy it with a one4all card the misses got from work but there is a €50 limit on shopping online with one4all so we need to but in a shop.

    anybody got any idea if thats possible

    Smyths do digital downloads via gift cards( not for every game, but usually the popular ones), that would be one way of doing it, or another would be to use your one4all in gamestop to buy xbox live credit so that he can buy it direct from the store.

    2 words of advice, if you can at all, set up the console beforehand, as there will likely be a system update needed , and you dont want to be stuck downloading for half the day on christmas morning.
    The other bit of advice - Cold war is a big game (download wise) so if you can at all, try and get that sorted too.

    Thinking I'll buy xbox gift card in Tesco then he can buy the game from the Xbox store
