Just wondering how most clubs pick their juvenile Coaches is it coaching officer ...juvenile committee ...senior committee ....trying to avoid politics last year we sent out txt to all club members existing and new to reply back with age group they'd like to be considered for a role but this did not guarantee they'd what group they wanted ......that it was clubs decision .....club then left it to coaching co ordinator to select ....does this seem fair

We have a juvenile committee that organise it. To be honest, there's generally no issues but, the odd time that there is, then the club executive would handle it.

I coach underage rugby and it’s just parents of the given teams, are most not just particular parents of the group?

Coaching officer and coaching committee sort it out but getting enough people is usually the challenge rather than turning people away.

Actual getting people to commit their time and take the responsibility seems to be an issue in most clubs rather than having to disappoint people.

As a underage coach Hangers on and al a carte volunteera who get involved but can't be relied on, really annoy me.

Either commit to coaching a team or don't.
