Bentone burner

    How often should the fuel nozzle be replaced on a Bentone burner. If not changed can that lead to higher fuel consumption.

    Annually they say, not that I agree with that. I usually go by the combustion reading that I get to help with my decision.

    Is that yes change nozzle or yes it will use more fuel if you don't.

    yes to using more oil but more in conjunction with just changing the nozzle on its own

    the boiler has to be set up properly using the proper test equipment
