    I'd actually prefer if this was the final, both great songs. But the Wizzard one just makes me smile that bit more when I first hear it being played.....obviously FoNY isn't meant to make you smile but you know what I mean.

    Wham - Last Christmas VS Dean Martin - Let it Snow

    I like 'Last Christmas' but I don't love it. It's a perfectly serviceable Christmas song but not one that I'm ever dying to hear. 'Let It Snow' is the kind of song you hear when you're a kid, it's a bit more traditional and "wholesome", for want of a better word.

    Pogues it's so different and Xmas is not always sweet and fuzzy and cheery for people. I LOVE her voice. Plus the part in the Wizzard song where the kids raise the tune by an octave (Shudder)
    Dean Martin not sure i would have ever voted for this on a poll before but hearing it now.! Such a wonderful voice. Have been playing it the last few days and the kids have been singing along and humming it in the car without me even playing it. A real treat to see how much they love it. Well done to the nominator.

    Wham - Last Christmas VS Dean Martin - Let it Snow - By far the better of the two songs. Great vocal delivery and feel good song for Christmas.

    I have to say that all the really good songs are gone, the last one being Bing and Bowie.

    Not that unexpected. Boards is awash with gig-goers that are out to prove how eclectic their music tastes are.

    Wizzard is great too. It's a fun tune to play at an xmas party or disco.
    Let it Snow is the kind of song that is lovely to play on xmas morning/afternoon and gives you a nice warm, peaceful feeling.
