Evenly matched teams. Both are probably in false positions in the league's tbf. Everton overachieving and Burnley underachieving.

Have you looked at the table or is this just the usual? You don't think Everton are or have a claim to be the 7th best team in the league?

    ?

I said they are overachieving and Burnley underachieving. Hardly too controversial. Recent seasons would back this up.

    Not really controversial just wrong?

    Everton recent seasons - 12th 8th 8th and then before that 7th.

Currently 7th in live game with United/Villa/City 2 games in hand behind us.

So where exactly is the overachieving?

I read his original post as Everton are a bit higher than they usually are so far this season and Burnley are a bit power than they usually are. Hence the over and underachieving comment?

I'd be amazed if anybody knew the average Everton position after 10 games because I certainly don't :pac:

Even if it was average position after 10 games you would still have them between 10-13th which given the games in hand is not overachieving

    This game is pretty boring.

    This game is pretty boring.

I'm zoning in & out of the game but honestly watching some of the action makes me think that I could have gone professional.

What's the story with Laporte at City? Doesn't seem to be a guaranteed starter anymore and it doesn't look like a fitness issue.

Was poor in the defeat to Spurs and since then it's been bench, not in squad, bench & bench again today.

I thought that when, no offence, Djimi Traore won a Champions League. His opposite number that day was some lad called Paola Maldini.

Kompany is not there anymore he made everyone he played with look better than they actually are he made good players look really good and average players look good.

Komapny was also a leader I don't think any of the City defenders are actually leaders who will drag the rest of them defence up when they need support.

I don't think so. The 'big six' and Wolves are better than them. They had good results at the start of the season but I've seen them three or four times and they've been very poor and I don't actually even get what kind of style they're trying to play. They have nothing in midfield.

Simon Harris is monitoring the situation...

Why is Walker out of the squad? Pep or other reasons? He played well last week I thought.

I picked him in my FF team as a replacement for Digne. Kiss of death.

Brought him in last week myself, scored 9 points. It's like lotto with Pep at times.

Yeah agree. City look to be coming back into strong attacking form. The opening goal was nice to be fair.

Really looking forward the the West Ham and United game.

Enjoying watching Bowen play, think he'll cause United some problems. Should be a good game

Not PL but not one bit surprised at these fans. Should have all walked off and left them to their gammon and brexit

If Fernandes isn’t injured OGS is taking some chance benching him.

Thought he was poor midweek, might need a rest.

He’s still the man that, in my opinion, is keeping OGS in a job.

He's injured and suspect he was injured on Wednesday but was kept on.

Milwall have said till the New Year when " a new and comprehensive anti-discrimination strategy will be announced by the club". Not sure if all clubs are planning the same?

Guardiola, a big advocate of bringing back 5 subs, makes none today in a relatively comfortable game.

Half the team didn't start mid week I don't think.

Was very surprised Sterling played the full 90
