I was 90% sure the answer was 0.
Glad I decided to guess now :')

I was worried about that possibility too!

I'm slightly reassured by the posts since the actual number was announced...... I wonder am I the outside outlier this time???

Shuda gone with my first instinct  (maybe?)

    My lead is gone anyway.

I chose 17. Because I like the number lol

I did hover on zero for quite a while but I was pretty sure it was mentioned at least once or twice

Me too. Then I changed to something ridiculous.

In reality I was just trying to protect Reberetta's lead :)

Snap, so did I. I don't know if there was some little post-it stuck on the back of a page full of doodles in a folder in a filling cabinet in the old brain bag that did actually know or hear the answer was 17 (or close to it), or it really was a case of Oh God, I don't know, sod it 17 will do.

    OK, let's go!

    The median today was 17!
So, so close, the wisdom of crowds is a thing :p

The standard deviation was a pretty whopping 29, meaning even if you'd said zero (no one did) you'd have got 7 points. If you guessed triple figures though, there's bad news coming...

3 people get full marks, 22 people get 9+

Mind you one stage I thought - what if he fired a machine gun and said Christmas (very fast indeed) when he fired it. Thankfully I discarded that idea quite quickly.

I just googled.Die Hard is 132 minutes long.

    HeidiHeidi said 142. ;)

I did try and figure that equation out, but lost interest fairly quickly....

And can I just reiterate - I'VE NEVER SEEN THE FILM!!

(I accept if I'd bothered doing the maths I might have come up with a marginally better answer!)

EN, a few of those scores don't add up in the table. The ones I've spotted, including my own, are out by 0.1. Might make a difference at the end.

Maybe everybody else is wrong, and there is a cd playing at the party that is just Fairy Tale of New York and Last Christmas playing on repeat and everytime a scene cuts back to the office floor it is playing in the background and Heidi is right

Phew, you had me worried there but it's just rounding in the display, the spreadsheet is working to god-knows-how-many decimal places. Your scores are actually...

Ah right, I didn't realise it went to more than one decimal place. As I may have mentioned earlier, I don't understand standard deviation. :D

Yeah, it's doing its own thing there :D
Just looked again, your score is 29.0340643392!

I thought that was too precise though :pac:

    Eh, hello??

There might be another challenger for that spoon.....

And if not, I think there should be a special prize for the biggest minus score, which I'm fairly sure I'll easily claim !!
