Klopp was very frosty with the BT interviewer before the match, the poor chap is going to get it after this match :pac:

Imagine how unbearable he'd be if they were losing every week?

Much easier call for VAR with the Mane one. Really all they need to do is get rid of the lines, or at most just use one straight line to see the offset from the camera angle. And from there just look at it - if it looks offside like that Mane one did, call it offside. If it looks level like the Salah one, leave it be.

    1-1 Pen on VAR Review.

Brighton deserved a goal at least in the game.

Correct decision by VAR and ref.

All they need to do is get rid of VAR completely and go back to 2018

It's been an awful idea, amazed at the amount of people who defend it. It was better before.

It has its good and bad, been good today all decisions correct by law.

Brighton are a pesky team to play so lucky to come away with a draw there. Well done klopp and team.

Liverpool back on top. Just about.

BT may get rid of Peter Walton. Every week the VAR go against his opinion

Liverpool will still win the league by 10 points, i think that's fairly obvious. They really do get a lot of VAR decisions against them.

Welbeck calls it a soft pen

Even players who we let go in the summer were getting injured in that game

    What one was incorrect?

The 2 Liverpool goals that were ruled out were great calls by VAR.

But what’s the law for the penalty? Is any bit of contact now considered a penalty? There was a slight bit of contact with two players going for the ball but definitely not enough to warrant going to ground and a penalty being awarded.

Like the penalty was so soft. Never mind VAR, football is has become way too soft and needs to change its description as a non-contact sport.

Correct decision by VAR and ref.

    Absolutely

So was this another 'freak result' for the team I was told last week was 'head and shoulders' above the rest? Brighton can consider themselves unlucky not to take all 3 points. 11 shots vs 6, 3 on target vs 2, including a missed penalty. Liverpool 7 points worse off than they were last season according to BT.

Not sure why Klopp is having a moan either as it was a blatant penalty.

That's not a controversial penalty decision really. Player gets the ball and Robertson kicks him. If he gives it originally, there's no question of it being overturned.

Whether looking at it in slow motion merits the overturning, well we knew this would be the consequence of VAR.

    What one was incorrect?

I'm not saying they are right or wrong, I'm just saying they get a lot of borderline decisions given against. The first offside was marginal.

Still top of the league baby.

smart from VAR as in Everton game. Give decision late as possible no chance to respond

No, Brighton played a great game. Are you going to bring this comment up every time Liverpool don't win a game?

Again you're comparing a 7-2 to a 1-1 and the opinion of a 'freak result'

    Where is the controversy here???
Robertson fouled welbeck in the box.
    It's a penalty.

How are fans and bt superstars Pete crouch and pep Cole moaning about it?

BY the letter of the law all the decisions were right.
Unless you don’t want the laws enforced.

Everton last minute, penalty against Sheffield United probably a few more.

Brighton should have won it overall IMO

Liverpool were the lucky ones to get a draw

Brighton with some crazy misses in that game too

    But it was offside.
    They are right.
    You are wrong
