Big pull back, do you think it's time to buy, buy, buy?

Bought at $16,378, not meant to buy until tomorrow but front ran myself.

Well it was certainly a surprise to check Coinbase around 8:30am and see almost a third of my profits had vanished overnight, only for them to have a dramatic jump back up half an hour later. This is my first bull run, so par for the course I presume?

quite similar to this time 2017, just a correction although Armstrongs tweets/rumour about the private wallets did not help one bit!

My son has a nice idea for an utterly anonymous coin. Unfortunately the processing power required for the maths involved is very large.

I hope most on here either crystallised a gain or 2?
Or at least didn't buy on the high side.

    Me... :D
I'm stalking like a tiger, if the US kyc stuff is true?
Sure that's even more likely to cause a *crash than Thanksgiving, Wall St Bonuses, Diwali, Chinese New Year and Virgin appreciation day all rolled into 1!!!

I'm actually still below where I sold out of everything except .xrp ;) really nice profit back into stable coin there.

*This may be sarcasm, or it may not.
If there's a crashier crash, I am prescient! If there isn't well I was being sarcastic

The head of Nexo is on Bloomberg this evening at 5.40pm.

Might be a sign of a dip coming.

European ETF issuer VanEck has announced the launch of a bitcoin exchange-traded-note (ETN) on the Deutsche Böerse. The ETN will launch on the electronic trading venue of Europe’s third-largest exchange, Xetra.

According to ETF Stream, the VanEck Vectors Bitcoin ETN (VBTC) will have a total expense ratio (TER) of 2% and is set to be fully replicated. VanEck reportedly partnered with Bank Frick, a crypto custodian regulated in Liechtenstein, to hold the underlying BTC in cold storage.

Bitcoin ETPs have started being launched on Germany’s Xetra exchange after receiving approval from German financial regulator BaFin.

ETF Stream details this is the third bitcoin exchange-traded product listed on Xetra, after ETC Group’s BTCE, which recently crossed the $100 million in assets under management mark, and 21Shares’ Bitcoin ETP, ABTC.

The newly listed bitcoin ETN is easily accessible to investors as purchasing it is “as simple as trading in stocks or ETFs,” and managed a bitcoin wallet and its private keys are not required. The VBTC ETN gives investors exposure to the cryptocurrency, without having them learn about hot and cold storage, for example.

Yeah I've seen several BTC based notes - usually price trackers, being traded, that was 1 or 2 years ago.

Will be curious how the market responds to the green 24 hour figure in around 12 hours if it doesn't drop further in the meanwhile

A few lads just had there faces ripped off ROFL

A retrace to 10 K per BTC in the next few months is totally on

It can down as quickly as it can go up

It'll be fine long term if you can hold on that long

Some of these crypto ETPs have been listed on the Swiss stock exchange for some time I think: https://21shares.com/product/

They had fun with the thicker symbols ... HODL, MOON :-)

And I won’t touch this but they even have one to short BTC which could be recommend for the bears on this thread as an easy way to put their money where their mouth is.

    Are they shares or ETF's?

There are already some Trackers on the Swedish SA, but they are ETF's. Taxed differently to shares

They are ETPs based in Switzerland. I suspect they are taxed like ETFs (with deemed disposal and all that <sarcasm>great</sarcasm> stuff), but not completely sure.

One option if you want crypto exposure with regular company shares is Galaxy Digital. If I get it right, currently almost half of the market cap is backed by crypto-assets (Bitcoin and altcoins) they have in their treasury, and almost another half corresponds to private equity early-stage investments they have made in blockchain and crypto companies (including big names such as Bitstamp, BitGo and BlockFi). Plus you also own part of the crypto investment bank which they are building for institutions.

IMO it actually is a great way to get diversified exposure to crypto (both crypto as an asset and as an industry).

It will dump more. I'm looking around 15k.
    Then it will pump.

Big if true. Reminder of the ridiculous timescale in action and impossibility of guessing though (a la me thinking it'd hit ATH by end of week): this time last month BTC was hitting a high for the year around $13k. The last time it was $13k before that was January 16th 2018.

Could be dragged any which way, a coinflip.
