I am sure better bakers would have liked a go

It's like Peter is presenting a cookery show. He's so calm and knowledgeable. Very impressive

A think plenty feel sympathy for her.

It's the judges that people are criticising.

That comment about 35degrees from purue.
forget all the issues people have with the judges.
My qualms lie with the producers.
its a given at this stage that bakeoff will have temperature issues. Every year for god knows how long there has been a heat wave
That. I find the most unfair thing about this show.
that they dnt move it to spring and force them to set things when its chemically/physically impossible

Ah look its not like this prize is worth thousands.its a cake stand.
If it were worth actual money id be more concerned with having her in it. Her flavours are always there She just misses something in execution. Shiit happens and she comes back every week trying

    I'd love that cake stand!

Well, Dave fairly smashed that one!

    Dave has grown on me

I'll be making those walnut whirls for sure, they look delicious!

Guess it's all down to the showstopper, so......

God I feel very sorry for Laura with how much people are vilifying her. It's just cake at the end of the day, this is supposed to be the nicest/friendliest show on TV.

I'm v excited to see what they all put up for showstopper!

Those walnut whips look a lot nicer than ones in shop.

Laura last again, so we knew she shouldn't be in a final but this is really a joke.

Dave all the way for me anyway, has def improved the most

Oh great, Laura gets to make all her car crashes a second time!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,793 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

Jeepers, Peter really is a bit obsessed with Christmas!

I like Dave's idea of redemption tower. I hope it's gonna pay off for him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,881 ✭✭✭appledrop

I think Dave has this in the bag.

Why is it ok for dave to have a redemption tower but for laura its a negative thing?

She seems like a really nice lady tbh....but...come on how many disasters has she had?!
There is pretty much one disaster a week with her.
I don't blame her....what the heck were Paul and Prue thinking putting her through over hermine last week?

Because will probably end up as a puddle with how this final is going for her

Well, I think he's mad as well if I'm honest. Why would you not showcase your best bits in the final?

Kudos to Dave for offering to help the others when he finished first, that was big of him.

Think Peter's looks most impressive from the bits they've shown.

She was put in over other people every week because her bakes always tasted nice. Over peoples who made things that were inedible or tasted rank.
Paul and prue obviously value taste (go back and read pauls tweet).

She has not had a great time. I cant deny that. But i would take something that looks like **** and tastes Amazing over something inedible anyday.

This is a baking contest and it should look good and taste good

And yet again: Laura's bakes taste amazing but look garbage, just it won't save her this time lol.

Yes and the people who went instead of her either looked good and tasted sh1t or were **** at both
    What would you rather?

That's why she's in the final, beautiful tasting baking. Will she win, unlikely, but the people saying she has no right to be here need to have their heads checked.

Love the look of peters tower, v impressive!

I don’t need to have my head checked because I have an opinion that differs to yours .

This whole series has been pretty poor

Oh dear, both Peter and Dave have issues with their flavours and execution. Plot twist incoming? :pac:
